The Ministry of Education cience and Technology is announcing a Scholarship opportunity for
Special Education Teaching Diploma. Applications are welcome for
academics studying, Diploma in Education specializing in the following
areas: Intellectual Disability, Asymia, Deafness, Deafness and Visual
Impairment.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RECEIVING FUNDING
This scholarship will be awarded to students with the following qualifications:
- Be a Tanzanian;
- Must have been admitted to a Teaching College that is recognized by the Government and offers a Special
- Education Teaching Diploma;
- SUBMISSION COPIES
- Letter requesting funding showing the course you are studying, phone number and email address;
- Copy of academic certificates certified by a lawyer; and
- Birth certificate certified by a lawyer; and
- a letter from the Dean of the College showing that you have been admitted to the relevant College.
FUNDING AREAS
Funding will cover the following areas:

Tuition Fee;
-
Other contributions to the College (Eg. Defense, renovation, etc.);

Teaching and learning materials;fare; and
-
Health Insurance.
FUNDING TERMS
A student who will receive funding to study a Diploma in Special Education will be responsible for complying with the following conditions:
- He should read, understand and sign the Scholarship Agreement Agreement between him and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology;
- He should have a bank account for the money he will be paid directly;
- The beneficiary will not be allowed to change the study program he received funding without the approval
- of the Secretary General, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology;
- The beneficiary will not be allowed to postpone studies, except for health reasons, and confirmed by a
- Doctor from a Health Center or Hospital recognized by the Government;
- If the beneficiary cancels the funding opportunity, he must give written notice to the Secretary General of
- the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology through the Principal of the college he was admitted to and register;
TERM OF FUNDING
This funding is for a period of two (02) years of study for students who meet the criteria specified in item no. 5.
FUNDING APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Applications should be submitted to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology within 15 days from September 01, 2025 to September 15, 2025.
Applications should be sent to the
Secretary General, Ministry of Education,
Science and Technology,
S.L.P 10 Dodoma.
The list of Academicians who will have received the funding will be posted on the Ministry’s website (www.moe.go.tz).
