Administration Officer at Manufaa Media
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day to day administration activities
- Purchasing office supplies and maintaining office equipment
- Enforcing compliance with health, safety and security of staff and environmental standards in the office
Recommended:
- Overseeing the use and maintenance of office budgets and expenses
- Creating and updating office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
- Collaborating with the Human Resources department on staff recruitment and training
- Tracking, analyzing and reporting on various forms of media, including traditional and digital platforms
Requirements:
- University Degree in business administration, human resource management, law or mass communication
- knowledge of office administration and business management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others
- At least two years of work experience with administration or communication roles
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Patience and ability to work under pressure with less supervision
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively

Job Opportunity: Media Monitoring Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on various forms of media, including traditional and digital platforms
- Analyze media content to identify key themes, sentiment, and emerging trends
- Provide regular updates on competitor activities and industry trends
- Work closely with public relations, marketing, and communications teams to ensure consistency in messaging and address any concerns arising from media coverage
- Stay updated on the latest media monitoring tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili Language (Experience with translation)
- Bachelor Degree in Communication, Public Relations or related field
- Microsoft Package proficiency
- The ability to translate complex technical language and ideas into language easily comprehensible for external engagement
- At least two years work experience with communication roles
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all staff and other key partners
- Photographic and video skills preferred
