6. CCECC is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced highly
motivated candidates to fill the positions below:
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Environmental Technicians (3)
Environmental technician will be responsible with the following duties
1. Report to environment engineers
2. Conduct daily environment inspections
3. Warn people who do not comply with environment instructions
4. Ensure to take the environmental precautions operation at the site
5. Conduct site inspections on weekly basis
6. Observe sites for environmental compliance with project standards
7. Conduct environmental trainings where appropriate
8. Marking sites locations for environmental labeling in coordination with environmental engineer
9. Conduct site sampling and tests in collaboration with environmental laboratory responsible where appropriate
10. Assist HSES Manager and in implementing and monitoring the project environmental Plans
Minimum Qualifications and experience
§ B. Science in Environmental Science or any other related field
§ Attended OSHA Course (Nosch 1& 2) certificates will be an added advantage
§ At least 3 years of experience on Rail/Road construction with IFC Performance standards knowledge
§ Age: under 35 years
§ Language ability: in Spoken and written well in English
§ Other requirement: Ability to independently complete various tasks and
to excel at writing reports and daily updates. The ability to
communicate effectively with consultants and employers
Health & Safety Technicians (3)
Health and Safety Technician will have the following responsibilities:
1. Communicate health and safety requirements to the health and safety manager
2. Assist project health and safety manager to develop and implement the project health and safety plan
3. Monitor all hazards and minimize projects risks
4. Utilities the hierarchy of controls for risk management
5. Provide advice on health and safety to all workers and identify non-compliance issues
6. Determine health and safety legal requirements for the work activity
7. Make sure health and procedures are followed
8. Coordinated injury management/return to work for injured workers
9. Collate and report monthly statistics to management
10. Set up and be part of workplace health and safety meetings and programs
11. Set up toolbox talks on a regular basis
12. Ensure sound health and safety practices at all times
13. Conduct incidents investigations
14. Set up and deliver health and safety inductions
15. Conduct inspections to observe conformance with established OSH Plan
and determines the effectiveness of elements of the Plan
16. Establish contact with subcontractors with the objective of
maintaining good relations and coordination of accident prevention
activities and compliance with the established health and safety Plan
17. Deliver health and safety induction to all employees including subcontractors
18. Deliver health and safety awareness course and toolbox talks

Environment Engineer (1)
Environment engineer will have the following responsibilities
1. Support the ES Manager and executives in implementing and monitoring the project E&S system
2. Report environmental incidents to ES Manager
3. Supervise and to inspect the subcontractors in terms of environment issues
4. Assist the workforce in assessment and elimination of environmental risks
5. Place the necessary and proper environmental warning signs at a certain locations of the workplace
6. Inspect the inappropriate conditions and acts for environmental and social
7. Make periodic audits on implemented precautions and applications related to environmental management
8. Observe, asses and record activities’ environmental aspects and impacts at site and reporting to ES Manager accordingly
9. Supervise for carrying out of environmental incident reporting at site by incident responsible or observers
10. Conduct environmental site special trainings and supervising of
“environmental toolbox talks” are conducted by the site responsible
11. Follow up on corrective actions from environmental incident
investigations, inspections audits and complaints, and to ensure
satisfactory completion
12. Program environmental monitoring activities

communicate effectively with consultants and employers

Healthy and Safety Manager (1)
Healthy and safety manager will be responsible of the following;
1. Assure the implementation of project H& S Management system
2. Analyze the sites’ H&S PERFORMANCES
3. Report the accident and incidents to project manager and management system immediately
4. Ensure that achievable health and safety objectives are established
5. Ensure that resources (financial resources, labor force etc.) required for achieving these objectives established.
6. Review the HSMP documentation
7. Ensure the implementation of H&S management plan, holding
periodic performance meeting with the project team and evaluating the
performance
8. Make the necessary on site investigation after serious accidents, incidences and non-conformities
9. Carryout project risk assessment, review update of the document
