Total Energies Tanzania has been active in Tanzania since 1969, where we are the leading retailer. We also lead environmental and community outreach initiatives in the country with the focus on preserving biodiversity and reducing our environmental footprint. In Tanzania, we own the cross-border East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), which will transport production from the Tilenga (TotalEnergies, operator) and Kingfisher (CNOOC, operator) projects in Uganda’s Albert Lake basin to the port of Tanga in Tanzania.

In Tanzania, we own a receiving terminal with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters, a 27,000 cubic-meter depot and a lubricant blending plant through our local affiliate. We have a network of close to 70 service stations in Tanzania, where we retail our fuel and products, and offer related services. In addition, we market distributed solar solutions for low-income communities through our service station network.
