Sugar production complements the Group’s existing product offering and can be distributed at a low cost by leveraging on our current brand, distribution, and logistics network. At the behest of the Tanzanian Government, the green field project of Bagamoyo Sugar Limited (Bagamoyo Sugar), a unit of Bakhresa Group, was incorporated on 01 December 2016, to grow sugar cane in the nucleus estate and produce sugar at Makurunge, Bagamoyo District. The main objective of the project is not only reducing dependence on sugar imports and attaining self-sufficiency but also producing surplus sugar for export.
Position Title: Haulage Technical Foreman 1 Posts
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
- An advanced Diploma in Mechanical or Agrtcultural/Automotive or their equivalent plus a certificate in basic supervisory Management.
- At least five (5) years hands on job experience as a Sr. mechanic on their concern section on the shop floor in a big motor vehicle workshop.
Position Title: HAULAGE FLEET SUPERVISOR 1 Posts
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
- An advanced Diploma in Mechanical or /Automotive Engineering or their equivalent plus a certificate in basic Supervisory Management.
- At least eight (8) years hands on job experience as a floor/field supervisor on the shop floor/Field in a big motor vehicle workshop.
Position Title: Mechanic 2 Posts
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
- Certificate Level 3 (CBA) in motor vehicle technology.
- At least three (3) years hands on job experience as a Mechanic on the shop floor in a big motor vehicle workshop.

- Certificate in Level 3 (CBA) in Auto-electrical from recognized institution.

- Certificate of Motor vehicle Mechanics Level 1/ Standard 7
- At least one (1) year experience as mechanic Helper.
Position Title: Tyreman 2 Posts
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
- An advanced certificate in Tyre management or Certificate Level 2 in MVM.
- At least three (3) working experience in tyres repairing.
Position Title: Welder 2 Posts
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
- An advanced certificate in Level 3 in welding/ fabrication.
- At least three (3) working experience in welding & Fabrication.
