Psychiatrist
Main Purpose
As an MSF Psychiatrist, you will collaborate with MSF medical staff on the integration of psychiatric treatment with basic healthcare services in order to insure the treatment of patients suffering from severe and common psychiatric disorders. Your role will be to propose, implement and improve treatments for patients with mental health conditions, using strategies and tools adapted to the context and culture. MSF offers a range of psychology and psychiatry activities depending on the program type and context: programs integrated into hospital activities, psychiatric and psychological consultations, programs offering specific care for trauma (conflicts, sexual violence) and certain diseases (tuberculosis, AIDS).
