The incumbent will be responsible to oversee the overall
implementation of the FIKIA project in the regions of Geita, Kagera and
Kigoma. S/he will work closely with the Director of Prevention Services
and directly oversee the regional program offices/teams in the
respective regions.The incumbent must be a Medical Doctor (MD) or posses an equivalent degree from a recognized academic institution. Possessing a Masters Degree in related discipline such as Public Health will be an added advantage. S/he must have a minimum of four years’ relevant working experience in a Managerial level and two or more years’ experience directly supervising/managing multidisciplinary teams of at least ten staff, with demonstrated skills in leading teams of professionals. S/he must posses strong computer skills such as MS Excel, Access, Word, and Power point. S/he must have a demonstrated knowledge on HIV and AIDS prevention, care and treatment and, Strong ability to liaise with external stakeholders and government officials.

Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks a Project
Coordinator – Faith-Based Community Initiatives to be based in Dar es
Salaam, Tanzania.
The incumbent will be responsible to provide technical assistance and supportive supervision on Faith Community Initiatives to Technical Officers, Field Officers and regional teams working in Geita and Mwanza where activities will be implemented. S/he will work with the Director of Preventive Services to design, implement, and monitor programs and oversee the programmatic roll-out of FCI for ICAP in line with PEPFAR guidance. S/he will also monitor the implementation of FCI activities by Faith Based Organization under service agreements.
The incumbent must possess a bachelor degree in Religious, Social or Community Development studies and minimum of 4 years’ experience working with Faith-based organizations and donor funded programs. A Master’s degree in public health or a degree in a medical field will be an added advantage. S/he must have experience working with faith leaders and managing teams of more than 10 staff with strong commitment to PEPFAR/CDC mission; deep understanding of the needs of faith communities and the Tanzania religious climate. Must have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in both English and Kiswahili.

Field Assistant at ICAP March, 2020

The Field Assistant supports day-to-day field implementation of a
community-based HIV testing and prevention program targeting key and
vulnerable populations (KVP). S/he will work closely with the Field
Officer(s) to ensure delivery of community-based HIV testing
services for target beneficiaries. The incumbent must have a minimum of 1
year experience providing HIV testing and counselling services with
demonstrated familiarity with MOH systems, tools and procedures for HIV
testing and care management.

Linkage and Retention Assistant at ICAP March, 2020

The Linkage and Retention Assistant is responsible for following up
the linkage to care, initiation of HIV treatment, and retention in care
of beneficiaries diagnosed with HIV through the FIKIA project which a
community-based HIV prevention program. The Linkage and Retention
Assistant’s responsibilities include identification of clients who are
not linked to or retained in care, and follow-up of these clients to
ensure they achieve viral load
suppression. The Linkage & Retention Assistant follows up cases
between community and facility-based service delivery to ensure
continuity of care. The incumbent must have a minimum of 1 year
experience working directly with people living with HIV, providing
counselling or other prevention and treatment services.
