in Tanzania. Since 2015, as part of the Burundian Refugee Response in
Tanzania, DRC works in the sectors of camp management, community based
protection, livelihoods, protections, WASH, General Food Distributions
and shelter/ small infrastructure in Nduta & Mtendeli camps.
Starting from January, 2020, DRC will be implementing Camp management,
Community based protection and Livelihoods projects in Nyarugusu refugee
camp.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this job is to provide efficient and effective handling of all generators are properly serviced and maintained in due time. This post holder will ensure and control of the quality of the supply of power on all designated locations in Nyarugusu.
Key Responsibilities:
• To manage the generators and ensure quality in power supply in all designated locations in Nyarugusu Refugees Camp motorbike
• To provide a timely fuel consumption report of each generator at the end of month to the Supply Chain Manager.
• To ensure that all fuel supply are recorder in DRC standard template. (Fuel request and tracking sheet, Waybill, GRN,Bin & Stock Cards, etc..)
• To ensure that the routine maintenance of each generator is done in due time.
• To ensure that all mechanicals faults are recorded and reported to your line manager and AIRD as soon as possible and follow up to ensure that its fixed.
• To ensure that the generators are secured and clean at all time.
• To ensure that all generators in each location have security equipment such as; fire extinguishers, shovels, bucket with Sand, No Smoking Signs and restricted to unauthorized person.
• To ensure that each generator service and repair are recorded in the book for performance tracking purposes.
• To ensure that all the maintenance is properly completed and recorded in the computer
• To ensure that each generator has the next service tag is displaced for easy track
• To keep an inventory list of equipment assigned to you and report on quarterly basis to your line manager.
• Ensure that you are working to the best of your ability and demonstrate high levels of commitment to DRC in order to ensure the objectives are met
• To perform any other task requested by your Line Manager

Essential
• High school graduate or above
• Excellent skills in mechanics
• Skills in electrical maintenance
• A High standard of numeracy
• A responsible attitude and ability to manage the resources
• Team spirit and team player attitude
• Proven high level of problem-solving skills
• Excellent management skills including a capacity to prioritize the work
• Computer literacy particularly with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Access
Desirable
• 2 Years’ experience working with NGO
• Good writing report skills
• Ability to work under pressure

purpose of the role: The information management assistant- inter-agency
is responsible for supporting the inter-agency GFD feedback mechanism,
handling complaints/feedback from the community, managing
complaints/feedback to go through the feedback cycle, providing general
administrative support to the inter-agency Help desk.

Overall purpose of the role:
The Project officer- GFD will work with the Program Manager to ensure
accurate food logs are received from the warehouse and distributed for
PoC as per their entiltilment each month.
He/She
will be responsible to secure and keep the certified food log from the
time it is handed over until distribution is complete.
The
GFD CS will be responsible to ensure the correct certified food log is
at each FDP (Food Distribution Point) where he/she is assigned

- Support the Program Manager in planning of distribution activities as per the planned distribution cycles.
- Responsible for conducting food distribution on the day of distribution in the assigned food distribution point.
- Ensure, correct and proper beneficiary verification in the assigned distribution point in coordination with the MHA, UNHCR and WFP Office in Kibondo.
- Sensitize the communities on distribution allocation/entitlements to each household before the distribution takes place.
- Ensure proper markings, fencing and roping of the distribution point on the day of distribution.
- Ensure proper security provision including adequate security personnel are in place and in time.
- Ensure help desk is in place with adequate information dissemination system, including, complaint register.

- Document any errors and report them to UNHCR so they can be corrected prior to distribution day
- Ensure a correct and certified food log is received prior to distribution and used at each distribution
- Produce a distribution report based off the food log and independent of the waybill.
- Attend Post and Pre-distribution meetings with the FMC, scoopers and community leaders.
- Ensure copies of all distribution documents are properly kept and filed i.e. the food log, coupons, and complaint records.
- Together with project Assistants Conduct trainings for scoopers and FMCs on food management
- Submit the numbers and names of all no shows to the PM after every GFD in order to track those that continually do not show up
- Ensure all necessary arrangements are made for food distribution teams including printing of FRNs, return waybills, reporting forms, beneficiary lists, etc.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Program Manager
- Follow the General policy guidelines of the DRC/DDG including the code of conduct
