Kwanza Ltd has an exciting opportunity in Manufacturing Department. We
are looking for a talented individual with the relevant skills and
experience for a Syrup Room and Water Treatment Team Leader position, to
be based in Mbeya. The successful candidate will report directly to the
Manufacturing Manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The
Syrup Room and Water Treatment Team Leader will be responsible in
monitoring the syrup and water treatment plant; Ensure good operational
control and equipment maintenance in his/her process area (syrup and
water treatment plant) in order to supply syrup and treated water to
customers as per daily operational plan. Provide leadership to the Syrup
Room and Water Treatment team, communicating the business direction and
implementing organisational improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance
with all internal and related legal/regulatory requirements with respect
to safety, water quality and environmental management. Where necessary
assist with the development of operational quality system
procedures/guidelines for Syrup Room and Water Treatment. Ensure
optimization of resources in daily operations as per budget.

Skills, Experience & Education
The
incumbent should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and
Technology; Chemistry; Micro-Biology or Environment Science. Three (3)
years of manufacturing experience which include experience in a
leadership or managerial role and 2 years water treatment experience
preferably with FMCG; Should also be a good communicator, physically
flexible and demonstrate high level of integrity and leadership.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

successful candidate will be responsible for hauling of bulk stock
(Primary Distribution) between Manufacturing Plants and Official
Coca-Cola Distributor’s (OCCDs), Delivery of stock (Secondary
Distribution) to Direct Delivery customers and OCCD’s. Providing
professional and efficient customer service to the internal and external
customers. Conducting and Compile necessary invoicing to ensure that
all delivery documents are correct and checked. Take full accountability
of the allocated truck, Mobile device, stock and pallets on truck.
Co-coordinating and receiving customer invoices. Perform daily stock
counts in an accurate and prompt manner. Comply with security checks and
procedures. Management and supervision of the crew on the truck. Abide
by the traffic laws and regulations of the country. Comply with company
safety standards and ensures no fatality. Settlement of loads after
every delivery.
Skills, Experience & Education
Applicants should have at least Secondary education (Form IV), valid and applicable drivers licence. Excellent communication skills, at least 2 years of prior distribution driving experience and should be prepared to work fixed shifts at a specific time of day or days of the week.
