The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a S year global project funded by the US. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the US.Agency for International Development (USAID), dedicated to achieving and maintaining HIV epidemic control. The project provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to break through barriers to 95-95-95 and promote self-reliant management of national HIV programs by improving HIV case-finding, prevention, and treatment programming. In Tanzania, EpiC will be implementing an HIV service delivery project among key and priority populations, adolescent girls and young women; and orphans and vulnerable children which aims to reduce HIV infections in pursuit of reaching 95-95-95 goals. To achieve this goal, the program will support targeted prevention and case finding strategies at community level amongst the targeted populations.
Position: Driver -Dar es Salaam (3); Dodoma (3); Shinyanga (2); Njombe (1) and Moshi (2)
Main Function: Rresponsible for driving EpiC staff, consultants and visitors to locations for project meetings and activities and maintaining project vehicles.
Specific Responsibilities: Driving staff to meetings and appointments as assigned Operating the vehicle in accordance with the FHI 360 Vehicle Policy and ensuring that passengers comply with this policy e.g. vis-a-vis the wearing of seat belts for example. Responsible for day to day maintenance of the assigned vehicle including checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tires etc.; and ensuring it remains undamaged and in working order.  Maintaining the vehicle travel and maintenance log as per policy. Managing the daily mileage record and petrol consumption. When dealing with outside organizations, presenting FHI 360 in the best possible manner by being tidy, helpful and courteousB Reporting to the Supervisor immediately as possible any accident involving an FHI 360 vehicle and assisting in the investigation of and follow up to any such accident. Notifying the supervisor of any maintenance or vehicle problems. Ensuring the vehicle is at all times kept clean and tidy.  Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Position: Regional Senior Technical Officer-Shinyanga, Moshi, Njombe and Dodoma (4 Positions)
Main Function: Providing technical support and oversighting to the implementation community-based activities for KVP and AGYW in their region, including community mobilization/demand creation and the provision of biomedical services at community level, i.e. community-based HIV testing and counseling (CBHTC), pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), HIV self-testing (HIVST), linkage to care, family planning (FP), services for gender-based violence (GBV) victims, and sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening. Overseeing and coordinate activities to reduce KVP and AGYW vulnerability and address structural drivers and contextual factors that place these groups at risk. Working closely with Tanzanian civil society organization (CSO) partners to build their capacity to provide these services, and developing and maintaining relationships with regional GoT counterparts, service providers and other implementing partners in their assigned region. Ensuring that activities in their region are implemented in line with GoT, USAID/PEPFAR and EpiC guidelines and standards
Specific Responsibilities.

Position: Senior Program Officer -Dar es salaam (1 position)
Main Function: Working with the EpiC Tanzania Project Director to provide oversight, coordination, monitoring and reporting on day-to-day program management functions, including contributing to work planning and activity monitoring; administering and monitoring subawards; developing and tracking program deliverables such as quarterly and annual reports; coordinating field visits and partner progress meetings; and coordinating technical assistance and capacity building support for partners. Working with technical, grants and finance staff to ensure smooth operation of these functions across all eight targeted regions in Tanzania and also supporting documentation of program best practices, success stories and lessons learned.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing HIV/AIDS &TB technical SBC leadership, guiding the development and implementation of SBC strategies, approaches, messages and activities. Main Function. Overseeing and coordinating the provision a combination prevention package of evidence-supported biomedical, behavioral and structural interventions to out-of-school AGYW ages 15-24 years to reduce their vulnerability to HIV across the targeted regions of Tanzania. Designing and providing technical oversight of activities at the community level which increase health seeking behaviors, reduce vulnerability and increase HIV testing, linkage to care and retention on treatment among AGYW in Tanzania.
