OPPORTUNITY FOR EMPLOYMENT
Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSC), the largest producer of sugar in the country operating cohesively with Extra Neutral Alcohol
Distillery (IDTL) is seeking to recruit a dynamic and result oriented person to fill a vacancy of Draughtsman reporting to the Design Engineer. The successful candidate will drive, enhance and maintain the Draughting service to all departments on the estate
Duties and Responsibilities:
Diploma/FTC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of Mechanical engineering drafting including but not limited to Layout drawings, Structural steelwork fabrication, Piping work (2D and Isometrics), Vessels fabrication, Machining symbols and tolerances, welding symbols, dimensioning techniques, etc.
Good communication and interpersonal skills effective at all levels.
The successful candidate will be engaged on permanent basis.

- Providing a drafting service to all departments.
- Providing design and bills of materials.
- Management of an efficient archive library.
- Management and co-ordination of ad-hoc projects.
Diploma/FTC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of Mechanical engineering drafting including but not limited to Layout drawings, Structural steelwork fabrication, Piping work (2D and Isometrics), Vessels fabrication, Machining symbols and tolerances, welding symbols, dimensioning techniques, etc.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Machine Elements and Design.
- Good Computer literacy with Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD drawing package (A minimum of 2D AutoCAD knowledge will be required and 3D AutoCAD knowledge will be an advantage).
- Knowledge and Experience in any other CAD software or other drafting tools would be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills effective at all levels.
