Job Purpose
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining effective MIS reporting systems to support strategic decision-making processes. The individual works closely with the Strategy Management Office members and other stakeholders to ensure that high-quality, timely, and accurate data is available to inform strategic planning and drive business performance.

Principle Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the MIS framework for the Strategy unit, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Regularly disseminate market insights and analyses to aid the management’s decision-making process and support strategic planning.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders highlighting key strategic focus areas, business performance and notable projects.
- Design, develop, and implement new MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics tools, using appropriate software and data visualization techniques to facilitate effective decision-making.
- Prepare the Strategy unit’s monthly and quarterly performance reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present comprehensive board reports, providing an overview of the organization’s performance, market trends, and progress of strategic initiatives.
- Identify and prioritize reporting needs, ensuring that relevant data is collected, analysed, and disseminated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with various departments and cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, ensure data quality, and maintain data integrity.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the MIS reporting framework, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for enhancements.
- Develop and deliver training and support to stakeholders on the use of MIS tools and reports to drive strategic decision-making.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of MIS and data analytics and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the Strategy unit.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, MIS or equivalent in reputable institutions.
- Excellent analytical skills, creativity in problem solving and a keen business sense
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in MIS reporting, data analytics and analytical tools e.g. power BI and Tableau
- High level of proficiency in MS PowerPoint & MS Excel
- Strong collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders in driving projects
- Excellent communication (written/verbal), presentation and meeting facilitation skills
- Well-rounded inter-personal skill set with the capacity to build strong senior relationships
- Prior experience and knowledge of banking is a plus but not a prerequisite
