The Technical Presales Associate plays a key role in supporting both the Technical and Sales divisions by providing consultancy, solution design, and business development for the Integrated Technology Business Unit. This role involves designing and documenting integrated security and engineering solutions, preparing commercial and financial proposals, and collaborating with various departments to ensure solutions meet functional and strategic business objectives.

Key responsibilities include developing technical and financial proposals, supporting procurement and tendering processes, conducting security risk assessments, and producing technical documentation such as security strategy reports, network topology designs, and engineering calculations. The role also requires business development support, identifying new leads, and engaging with clients to drive sales and adoption of integrated technology solutions.

Additionally, the Technical Presales Associate ensures compliance with industry regulations, stays updated on emerging technologies, and works closely with senior management to enhance technical capabilities and drive business growth. Strong technical writing skills and the ability to translate complex solutions into clear, actionable designs are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and drive the development of the integrated solutions in line with the company’s strategic and business plans and values, working closely and collaboratively with the other Division Directors or Managers to assist in the delivery of cohesive, high quality, high impact projects;
  2. Work with the Senior Management Team to assess and evaluate the company’s technical needs with respect to impact and effectiveness of projects, and company development.
  3. Design, document, advise and assist on all projects within agreed upon budgets, timelines and standards including technical and financial proposals.
  4. Participate in procurement by providing technical support to the tendering and selection process of any requirements in support of a project; Maintain strict compliance with the company procurement policy;
  5. Work with the management team in the development of the Company’s overall Integrated Solutions Strategy and seek to positively influence the progression and growth of the Integrated Solutions division;
  6. Responsible for production of strategic security and engineering deliverables, drawings, documentation, reports, and presentation materials. This covers Security Strategy Reports, Security Audits, Security Risk Assessments, BMS Systems design, Fire detection & suppression systems design, Security Operations Reports (CCTV, ACS etc.);
  7. Maintain ownership of deliverables, Concept Design Reports & Drawings, Scheme Design Reports & Drawings, Network Topology Design & Drawings, Detailed Design Reports & Drawings, Engineering Calculations (including Power, UPS, Network, Bandwidth, and Storage), BoM and BoQ Reports;
  8. Work with the Commercial team and support in business development activities by identifying new leads and opportunities;
  9. Represent the Company during consultations with client representatives, government agencies and industry associates connected to specific projects;
  10. Generate new leads with new and existing customers and closed based on monthly or quarterly sales targets for Integrated Technology Services for, but not limited to consultancy, design and proposing various technological and integrated solutions to go hand in hand with the Clients’ Operations in line with the Security requirements and services provided by the Company.
  11. Enforce compliance to set laws, regulations and customer requirements governing business operations;
  12. Produce pipeline report and ensure that internal and external stakeholders, including the Senior Management Team and Board, are appropriately kept abreast of The Company’s technological developments.
  13. Commission and undertake security surveys and security risk assessments; and present findings of work to team members and clients in an iterative and participative manner as needed.
  14. Information gathering and technical research relating to project specific design solutions. Keep abreast and maintain technology security awareness to include maintaining currency with the latest products and solutions available in the market; advise the business on best practices, technology changes and the subsequent adoption thereof.
  15. Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, and ensure the best performance to meet the company’s needs.
  16. Lead and ensure delivery of services as per the SLAs, company standards and quality as well as push recurring support. Service maintenance services and Annual Maintenance Contracts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Telecommunication, Electrical / Electronics, ICT or similar
  • Professional qualification in design technology, engineering, security and risk management or any related field.
  • Minimum ten (5) years technical presales experience in the same industry with at least five (3) years’ in the infrastructure / facilities security sector at a management level.
  • Demonstrable experience of large scale and complex technology security solutions in at least 3 key sectors e.g. Oil & Gas, Hospitality, Large Commercial Buildings, Education Sector, New Builds / Mixed Use Development Projects, Health Care, Mining, Retail & Financial Services.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest physical and electronic security systems including excellent technical / product knowledge of all types of security, fire and BMS systems and solutions such as but not limited to CCTV, IT networking, Access Control, Video Management Systems, Security Command Centers / Remote Monitoring, IVMS / Tracking and Alarms.

Technical Skills:

  • Solution Design & Architecture – Ability to design and document integrated security and engineering solutions (e.g., access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, network security).

Job Summary:

Senior HR Officer facilitates sound industrial relations management by providing front-line support on HR, Legal and Administration related matters in Arusha Branch and its supporting Regions and from time to time supporting Country HR Management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides advice, and information and implements industrial relations and employment policies in the best interests of the company to drive a fair, respectful, diverse, and high-performance culture.
You will also be working with other members of HR department and Company’s Legal advisor on the internal labour/civil matters including but not limited to Disciplinary hearings, Attending to Labour Disputes in CMA and in HC with the Company Lawyer, Drafting of Official HR letters such as Promotions, Terminations, Notifications.
Implement employee relations, social and welfare activities, and employee support programs countrywide to create a conducive and respectful workplace and good working relationships between employees.
Facilitate communication by providing guidance and consultation regarding problem-solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and litigation avoidance and strive to resolve internal conflict informally through appropriate conflict management and mediation techniques at the branch level.
Investigate and recommend actions for staff grievances and complaints of harassment and discrimination.
Develop cordial relations with the Trade Unions and their representatives
Responsible for discipline management as per the discipline policy.
Monitor staff employment details and ensure that each staff has an up to date file with valid required documentations i:e. employment contracts, up to date job description, IDs, Bio Date form

Provide day-to-day benefits administration services and acts as the key point of contact for the medical scheme(s). Assist employees with enrolment, access, and claim issues as well as final withdrawal from the schemes.
Support and coordinate annual staff appraisal, and staff training and ensure training records are up to date
Working hand in hand with Legal and Compliance Regional team
Serve as Internal HR Business Support in all HR, legal &compliance issues, Administration.

•Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus.
