Zambia Cargo and Logistics Limited (ZCL) is a regional logistics
service provider and wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of
Zambia (GRZ) through the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), with
terminals in Tanzania (Dar Es Salaam), Walvis Bay (Namibia), and an
operating center in Ndola, Zambia. ZCL is inviting applications from
suitably qualified Tanzanians to be considered for employment to fill
the vacant position listed below:

1. STOREKEEPER
A. Required Qualifications:
- Holder of a Diploma/Certificate in Materials Management, Procurement and Supplies, National Storekeeping, or an equivalent qualification, plus a Form IV/VI certificate.
B. Attributes:
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office.
C. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming stock and supplies.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and documentation.
- Organizing and managing the store layout for optimal efficiency and accessibility.
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
- Conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams for deliveries and stock requirements.
- Managing and controlling fuel pump stations.
- Issuing materials and supplies to departments based on requisitions.
- Identifying and reporting damaged or expired items.
- Utilizing inventory management software to track stock and generate reports.
