General Duties
Mission Driven
- Maintain a strong Christian witness and model servant leadership to colleagues, partners, the communities we serve, and the public.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that processes and controls are in place to ensure the accuracy and integrity of any office information.
- Ensure adequate documentation before issuance of payment to both staff and vendors.
- Assist in preparing the information required for internal and external audits.
- Systematically file financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Reconcile accounts payable.
- Reconcile staff cash advances, cash floats to ensure proper accountability of funds.
- Remit withholding payments to Tanzania revenue Authority on time.
- Update and maintain the asset register and organization inventory in NetSuite.
- Analyse bank statements, reconciling them with general ledger entries, and preparing bank reconciliations.
- Petty Cash management and preparing weekly petty Cash certificates after Cash Count.
- Review expenses submitted by employees from travel advances and accurately recoding in accounting.
- Post all approved transactions in the accounting system in a timely manner and fill them out appropriately.
- Support region offices with all accounting relating matters. .
- Review incoming payments from accounts receivables and outgoing payments from accounts payable.
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparation for Monthly/Yearly closure process.
Other tasks as may be assigned.

Education Qualification and Experience
- University degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Good knowledge of Accounting and Financial management areas with good technical knowledge of International (GAAP, IPSAS) and local financial reporting standards and compliances.
- At least one year of experience in financial management.
- Advanced skills with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint) and familiarity with financial and accounting information systems

Job Summary
Reporting directly to Water Mission’s Country Director in Tanzania, the Kasulu Project Manager will implement project management tasks within the Country Program following established standards and procedures. The position is based in Kasulu, Tanzania. The position requires travel to remote locations in respective regions to conduct inspections or training. The job entails frequent field visits and national and occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide project management oversight of all projects by tracking the scope of works, project schedule, and budget using Water Missions project management software systems.
- Provide direction and assistance for staff, contractors, and volunteers in the field. Provide as-needed onsite project management in support of approved projects.

Qualifications and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree required.

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Lead Engineer and/or his/her designee, Engineer (Engineer Level I) is responsible for the engineering services, including design, construction, and maintenance of water treatment systems in communities and disaster response situations in accordance with WMT standards, values, work scopes, schedules, and budgets. This position requires that the person resides near the regional office in Kasulu. This person must be willing to work in the field for up to one week on a regular basis and occasionally for longer periods of time to carry out assessments and to support some of the technical aspects of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities
At Water Mission Tanzania (WMT) we work as a team. Engineer (Engineer level I) is responsible for ensuring all work is completed to a high degree of excellence and according to all standards, values, and requirements of WMT. Because WMT seeks to share the good news of the Living Water, all employees are expected to share the gospel through their words and actions. The following list is meant to be a guideline:
- Maintain a strong Christian witness and model servant leadership to colleagues, donors, volunteers, and the public.
- Understand, support, and nurture the Vision, Mission, and Values of Water Mission.
- Conduct engineering field work and design according to established engineering principles and standards to a high degree of excellence and dependable accuracy.
- Perform Engineering tasks including water hydraulic design calculations, and development of plans, specifications, and structural drawings.
- Provide onsite project management in support of approved projects.
- Conduct field inspections and site assessments as needed to ensure that construction is in accordance with design and expectations.
- Champion and ensure that WM QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control standards and procedures) is upheld by the technical team
- Layout and design of water systems including source, pumping, treatment, storage and distribution.
- Ensure that your work is reviewed by another engineer as designated by the Country Director.
- Perform assessments in communities, including water quality and quantity testing, survey measurements and other aspects as may be required.
- Timely Project reporting, including monthly report, Assessment report, follow up report with accompanied photographs as per specific assignment guideline.
- Provide disaster response support and work in other countries as needed.

- Experience in the use of project management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills (English and Swahili are the preferred languages).

- A strong work ethic and self-starter demonstrating initiative.
