Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
Source and head hunt suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.Recommended:
Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
Conducting background and reference checks for potential candidates.
Assessing applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
Completing paperwork for new hires.
Promoting the company’s reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
Managing internship programs.
Keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.
Providing analytical and well documented recruiting reports.
Act as a point of contact for all candidate relationships.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources management, business administration or a relevant field.
- At least 2+ years’ progressive experience in recruiting in a consulting environment or related field.
- Knowledge of job posting sites and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of human resources laws.
- Knowledge of various interviewing methods.
