Duties
Operations Management: 65%

- Coordinates among users and drivers to meet requests and ensure efficient operations; handles emergency transportation requests as needed.

- Arranges work shifts, shuttle and other official trip schedules to meet all transportation needs.

- Serves as team leader to provide guidance and direction to chauffeurs on vehicle operations, safety measures, as well as specific instructions on transporting VIPs.
-
- Ensures drivers’ appearance is presentable, and vehicles are clean and in good operational condition.
-
- Reports any inappropriate behavior and rule violation; ensures compliance with safety regulations.
Fleet Management: 15%

- Analyzes fuel usage and vehicle maintenance data, periodically inspects vehicles, and develops vehicle rotation plans to enhance efficient fleet utilization.

- Submits vehicle mishap reports to supervisors within 24 hours; and reports all damage to US Government vehicles or properties, and when citations are issued to drivers.

- Participates in accident investigations.
Administrative Functions: 20%

- Prepares periodic reports on trip scheduling, chauffeurs’ shift work and

- Prepares monthly bills to subscriber agencies.

- Assists with motor pool inventory and barcoding.

OCCASIONAL TRAVEL
Duties
(50%) RECEIPT OF SUPPLIES
Responsible for the receipt and inspection of all property
(expendable and non-expendable) procured for the Embassy. Receives
accountable non-expendable property and enters information into the
asset management system, ILMS, ensuring correct record entries.
Responsible for properly labeling all accountable non-expendable
property. Prepares separate Receiving and Inspection Reports for
expendable and non-expendable property. Submits a claim on all damaged
items/discrepancies for further action. Ensures that copies of the
receiving reports are provided to the requesting offices and/or
agencies. Must maintain the receiving area clean, well organized, and
safe of hazard.
(30%) DELIVERY OF SUPPLIES
Serves as the link between the procurement, shipping, property,
accountability, and certifying functions. Coordinates deliveries with
vendors, contractors and shipping agents for all purchased
goods/services. Works with warehouse supervisor to deliver received
items. Is responsible for proper delivery of items and customer
satisfaction.
(10%) CLAIMS
Inspects shipments for damage. Makes damage assessments and
reports extent of any/all damage found. Coordinates with the Warehouse
Supervisor, the EXP Clerk, and the FAP Manager to ensure that all
received items are properly and promptly accounted for.
(10%) May perform additional clerical tasks such as posting, sorting, assembling information, filing, etc. Drives Embassy vehicle when motor pool driver is not available and performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Duties
(60%) Tanker Truck Operations
Operates medium sized water and fuel tanker trucks, flat-bed
Trucks and fork lift. Tanker truck driving involves transporting of fuel
from fuel deport to various official locations. Water truck driving
involves transporting of water from the NEC compound to various official
locations. Performs other routine driving duties as required. Maintains
vehicle cleanliness.
(20%) Flat Bed Truck Operations
Flat bed truck driving involves transporting of HHE, incoming
pouches from the airport to the embassy, heavy equipment and furniture
from the warehouse to residences and vice versa. Maintains vehicle
cleanliness.
(10%) Fork Lift Operations
Fork Lift driving involves operating heavy duty fork lift in the movement of container and crates on the embassy ground.
(10%) Data Entry
Keeps a log of trips and records, updates trip tickets status in FMIS.
