Supplying Of Furniture For Secondary Schools

• This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in ZANZIBAR LEO Issue 6019 dated 26^th July 2024.
• The United Republic of Tanzania has received a Loan from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), toward the cost of the Construction of three (3) Secondary School of Zanzibar and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan for Supply and Delivery of Furniture for Three (3) Schools Under BADEA Project.
• The Principal Secretary, Ministry of Education and Vocational Training now invites sealed bids from eligible qualified bidders for Supply and Delivery of Furniture for Three (3) Schools Under BADEA Project.
• Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the BADEA Guidelines for procurement of Goods and Services.
• Interested eligible local bidders may obtain further information from the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board P.0 Box 394 Zanzibar from 7.30 am to

3.30 pm local time from Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on public holidays, or e-mail: pmu@moez.go.tz

• Qualifications requirements include:

Experience of the supplier in the last four (4) years has successful supplied at least 100% of the goods required (in quantity or costs).

A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

• A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings Two Hundred Thousand Only (TZS. 200,000/=). The payment shall be made to the WEMA.
• Bids shall be valid for a period of at least one hundred twenty (120) days after Bid Opening and must be delivered to the address below at or before 00 am on Tuesday, 08^th August 2024. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids shall be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10.30 am on Tuesday 08^th August 2024.

Bids MUST be accompanied by an “Original Bid Security” in an acceptable form as described in the Bidding Document amounting to at least TZS 5,000,000.00.

Supply And Delivery Of Three (3) Buses For
Three (3) Schools Under Badea Project

1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in ZANZIBAR LEO Issue 6019 dated 26^th July 2024.
2. Invitation for Tenders

1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in ZANZIBAR LEO Issue 6019 dated 26^th July 2024.
2. The Government of United Republic of Tanzania represented by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar under Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has received loan from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) towards the cost of the CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPPING OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN ZANZIBAR and intended that part of the proceeds towards payments under the Contract for SUPPLY OF LABORATORY AND ICT EQUIPMENT FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS.
3. The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Competitive Bidders ICB No: MoEVT/BADEA/G4/2023. SUPPLY OF LABORATORY AND ICT EQUIPMENT FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidders procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) section 66( 1) and is open to all Tenderers as defined PPDA No 11 of 2016.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretariate of Tender Board of Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Mazizini, Urban P.O.BOX 394 Room NO. 26 from 07:30 am to 03:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS Two hundred thousand (200,000). Payment should be paid at
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security TZS 5,000,000 (Five million) in an acceptable form in the amount of Banker’s cheque or Bank guarantee.
8. All tenders in one original plus two copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 am 12^thAugust 2024. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, at Mazizini.
9. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
