The key purpose of this role is to operate of the blending and distillation and associated process areas, the execution of quality control checks and analyses, including coaching of other team members and supporting the Quality Technician in carrying out asset care activities.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Operating and Process Control:
- Operating manual equipment in Blending process areas according to the work instructions and supporting the plant control system under instructions of the E&F Technician Artisan
- Constantly reviewing process performance against target and recording short stops. Where process performance does not meet target, or trends or opportunities timeously. indicate the existence of problems, corrective action must be initiated
- Recording waste and movement of product on the appropriate documentation or information systems and reviewing waste trends to identify problems
- Carrying out the required quality checks as described in the quality control and analyses work practice
- Responding rapidly to upstream or downstream triggers that could result in quality or production problems
- Appropriate problem-solving approaches, as detailed in the problem-solving work practice must be followed
- Performing housekeeping tasks, applying 4s principles and following safe work practices
- Unsafe work practices must be identified and corrected
- Assisting fellow team members in the execution of their tasks
Maintenance of Plant and Equipment:
- Carrying out in-depth cleaning, lubrication and inspection of equipment according to the work instructions and in accordance with the maintenance schedule
- Performing simple autonomous maintenance tasks (e.g. replacement of simple valves), in accordance with the maintenance schedule, and where required requesting the assistance of the E&F Process Artisan
- Identify defective plant, and report these through to the Process Artisan or Team Leader for resolution. Assisting the Process Artisan in executing running repairs on shift
Quality Control and Analysis:
- Carrying out the required quality checks and analyses and recording the results on the appropriate information system
- The list of quality checks to be executed is contained in the work instructions. Where quality problems have arisen, apply the 5Y’s and quick fix routines to resolve
Communication:
- Actively participate in shift meetings, asking questions to test understanding and contributing suggestions. making use of the gap list to record issues, problems and improvement opportunities
- Fully understand the team goals and participate in team goal review sessions
- Make use of relevant communication media (e.g. shift logbook) to stay informed and inform others of issues
- Complete required hand over to incoming shift team members, ensuring the issues relating to plant performance, quality and maintenance are communicated
Problem-solving:
- Where problems occur, use 5Y’s and quick fix routines to identify the possible origin and report these to the Process Artisan for resolution
- Provide information to teams carrying out problem solving or FFA’s as required
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify sources of waste and report these to the Team Leader
Profile:
- Minimum Matric or equivalent e.g NQF Level 4
- National Diploma or equivalent
- 12 months on the job training @ SKAP process
- 6 months – 5 years’ experience in a brewing environment or previous experience in a process-controlled manufacturing environment, ideally in FMCG

The key purpose of the job is to ensure alignment to overall business strategy, deliver against Customer Service, Volume, Market Share and Profitability imperatives in an ethical and responsible manner.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Ensuring safety is first priority in all Tanzania operations
- Execute the strategy for T1, T2 Transportation and Warehouse capacity and operations.

- Execute DPO/VPO/LCP Means and standards, Drive innovation, benchmarking & process improvement initiatives to improve the Sustainable DPO/VPO/LCP KPIs.
- Develop & implement strategic plans to reduce operating costs & improve customer service throughout the T1/T2 Warehouses
- Developing annual Zone Africa ZBB Budget plus analyse and report and rectify any deviations throughout year
- Plan for capin including timing and execution of spend
- Support implementation of Champion’s/VA initiatives

Qualification & Experience
- Degree in Logistics or any other related field
- 5+ years in FMCG, distribution or supply chain planning operating at a managerial level
- Knowledge of all relevant legislative requirements
- Knowledge of customer service principles

The Key Purpose of this role is to load, unload and stack materials safely and efficiently while maintaining our Inventory/Materials, Governance Controls, Customer service standards and to support Production.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Effective Fleet management
- Conduct pre trip inspections prior to the start of each shift using the forklift inspection checklist.
- Ensure that the forklift is operated, cleaned and maintained in optimal condition
- Ensure that fuel and fluids are at accepted operating levels
Adherence to the health, safety and environmental standards
- Department of Labour stacking exemptions complied with
- 5S & Site housekeeping standards maintained and adhered to
- Appropriate personal protective equipment used as designated by site safety standards.
- Adherence to all relevant SOP’s and GOP’s
Effective stock quality management
- Warehouse stock age standards maintained by ensuring stock rotation principles applied – FEFO
- Ensures quality control through checking packaging on warehouse floor and prior to loading
- Effective inventory management & controls in line with our governance policies
- Participation in handover process before and after every shift
- Accurate daily stock count performed using handheld device
- Generate variance reports and resolve discrepancies
Effective stock quality management (continuation)
- Maintain clear and effective communication with Inventory teams, Warehouse teams and other stakeholders
- Accurate checking, loading and unloading of vehicles. Load Summary used to load correct quantities of split and full pallets
- Accurate recording of returns prior to unloading
- Accurate stock movements on FG and empties from and onto the lines
- Bin sign off required to ensure accurate stock/inventory reconciliations
