Central Corridor Transport Observatory (CCTO) managed by the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) and supported by TradeMark Africa (TMA) is the main instrument that is being used to monitor the demeanor and performance of the Central Corridor. The CCTO was set up to enable TTFA achieve its vision of making the Central Corridor the most competitive corridor in East and Central Africa by monitoring a number of indicators measuring performance of the corridor.

It is within that framework that the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency has got funding from TradeMark Africa towards the payment of a three years Technical Assistance in Field Surveys. The candidate for this position should have the following requirements:
- Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor degree preferably in transport and logistics or research.
- Have at least 4 years’ experience of working with monitoring systems of any kind. Working with transport monitoring systems will be an added advantage.
- already supervised a road/field surveys mainly in Transport sector for a minimum of 3 years in the region.
- Must have prior research experience involving development of data collection tools and report writing of at least 3 years.
- Prior experience of working with transit operators or transporters in various modes of transport is a desirable quality.
- Have computer skills especially relating to data handling like Microsoft Excel and Access, SPSS etc.
- Familiarity working with GIS tools and data including the use of complex databases, and specific software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, etc. will be an added advantage.

- Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor degree preferably in Mass Communications or related qualifications;
- Have at least 4 years’ experience in the field of communications, public relations and corporate communications;
- Possess a strong portfolio of past work, including successful campaigns, press releases, and other communication materials for at least three years;
- Must have prior research experience involving development of data collection tools and report writing of at least 3 years;
- Prior experience of working with transit operators or transporters in various modes of transport is a desirable quality;
- Have computer skills especially relating to Microsoft Office packages.
