POSITION SUMMARY:

The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, to day-to-day staff management and guests. He/She should be an ambassador for the brand and your hotel. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction. Work Very closely with the hotel owners and other stake holders.

Responsible for managing the Hotels management team (HOD’s) and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest experience. A General Manager would also be required to manage between profitability and guest satisfaction measures.

GM DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

v  Oversee the operations functions of the hotel, as per the Organizational chart.

v  Hold regular briefings and meetings with all head of departments.

v  Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.

v  Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment.

v  Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures.

v  Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel’s annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.

v  Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.

v  Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and management.

v  Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long term strategic goals for the property.

v  Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.

v  A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies

v  Closely monitor the hotels business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.

v  Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Admin & General, on target and accurate.

v  Maximizing room yield and hotel revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs.

v  Prepare a monthly financial reporting for the owners and stake holders.

v  Draw up plans and budget (revenues, costs, etc.) for the owners.

PREREQUISITES:

The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly intelligent hotel professional with outstanding, management skills and extensive hands-on experience. Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

EDUCATION:

A university degree in hotel management or a related field with Experience in opening, managing or re-positioning a hotel with clear track record. Excellent computer system skills.

EXPERIENCE:

At least 10 to 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, with significant luxury and international experience, ideally including experience in remote locations. And 5 to 10 years of experience as a General Manager or Asst. General Manager.

We are seeking a highly capable management accountant to optimize our financial management policies. Qualified candidate will be performing financial analysis, preparing financial forecasts, and advising senior management on strategic planning.

To ensure success as a management accountant, candidate should exhibit extensive knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting and experience in a similar environment. POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Management Accountant is to provide relevant, professional input into the roles and functions above to ensure the Finance achieves its objectives. The specific role of Management Accountant will ensure that the management and financial reporting functions of company are effective, accurate and appropriate while ensuring the delivery of information on a timely basis to ensure that the finance team achieves its objectives. Expectations will be regularly discussed with qualified candidate once hired, will be fair and reasonable and within the broad requirements outlined above.

GROUP AND TEAM GOALS:

The Accounting & Finance team is responsible for the financial functions of the company. This includes preparation of annual reports, budgets, annual and long-term planning, rates, debtors and creditors services, payroll, insurance, investments and the internal job costing aspects of Council’s operations.

THE FINANCE TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

v  Timely preparation of annual reports and budgets.

v  Provision of significant and timely input into annual plan and long-term plan preparation and development.

v  An effective, appropriate, and efficient rates section.

v  Provision of accurate financial information as required.

v  Presenting various financial reports to Council as and when required.

v  Delivering an effective and efficient debtors and creditor’s service.

v  Providing an effective and efficient payroll service.

v  Oversees Council’s insurance and investment requirements

We are looking for an experienced Chief Executive Officer or CEO to supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of the company dealing with Agrochemicals, veterinary Medicine, Seedlings, Equipment, Fertilizer and many other agriculture essential growth inputs. You will be the first in command in the company and responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success.

CEO Duties and Responsibilities:

v  The CEO will have the overall responsibility for the management of the Company and its human resource base on a day-to-day basis. The CEO shall ensure that activities follow the business plan and procedures, and that milestone and budgets are achieved.

v  The CEO is responsible for the preparation of The Company’s business plan/strategic plan including operational budgets.

v  The CEO is expected to act as the front figure of The Company and, as such, represent the directors and owners in the day-to-day running of the Company and shall therefore take the lead in profiling and selling The Company’s products, its concept and Mission & Vision in a professional way.

v  The CEO reports to the Board at scheduled Board meetings and to the Chairman of the Board, or a person appointed by the chairman, as necessary.

v  Compliance with all public authorities’ regulations and licensing of The Company.

v  All legal requirements of The Company and resolving eventual legal disputes as directed by the Board.

Sales & Marketing including the following specific responsibilities:

v  Organizing and training of the local sales & maintenance teams to enable them meet the company expectation.

v  Ensure there is development of the promotion sales material, such as brochures -banners – DVDs etc. Organise national campaigns as appropriate

 Financial management including the following specific responsibilities:

v  Approval of monthly financial reports showing total sales value, major cost components and net results per Solar Service Centre.
