DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee mechanicals and manage what gets done in workshop environment. ⮚ Oversee day to day workshop operations.
- Maintain repairs service vehicle to ensure they remain fit for purpose and available when required.
- Ensure workshop police and procedures are followed by all.
- Ensure all works are delivered to the required standard, in the required time and in the most efficient manner possible.
- Ensure effective task are given priorities, scheduling, allocating, delivering in time.
- Ensure all workshop budgets are kept and recorded in a proper way.
- Supervise the all workshop team (mechanicals, operators and drivers).
- To ensure the workshop area is kept safe, clean and tidy at all the time.
- To drive company vehicles when necessary.
- Advice and instruct on a proper use of log books to drivers and operators.
- Any other duties that are reasonably required by the workshop manager or top managers.
REQUIREMENTS.
- Bachelor degree in mechanic engineering.
- Certified with engineering registration board
- Qualified Mechanical engineering and Sound knowledge of workshop procedures ⮚ At least 2-3 years of experience.
- Strong ethical standard.
- Computer literate. ( word, Excel, Power point, Internet and Access)
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to give presentations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Swahili and English.
- Flexibility to work beyond normal working hours and weekends Ability to multi task and prioritize effectively.
- Must be organized and punctual.
- Full time employment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Visits site to inspect vehicles.
- Plan and established timetable to complete repairs and maintenance.
- Examines critical parts of vehicles using standard checklist.
- Test vehicles to confirm safe and proper operation/perform tests on specific parts and system of vehicles to ensure proper function.
- Conduct regular service, repair and maintenance.
- Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades a proper record of what has been maintained.
- Perform vehicle inspection and assessment and alert workshop supervisor or workshop manager.
- Monitor inventory and advice on ordering of new spare parts and consulting with workshop manager or workshop supervisor first.
- Inspect vehicles engine and mechanical, electrical component to diagnose issues accurate.
- Conduct routines maintenance work (Replacing fluids, lubricants parts) to aiming vehicles functionality and longevity.
- Schedule future maintenance sessions and advice on good vehicle use.
- Provide accurate estimates of cost, time and efforts for a repair and maintenance.
- Any other duties that are reasonably required by the workshop manager or top managers.
REQUIREMENTS.
- Bachelor degree in auto motive engineering
- Extensive knowledge of all aspect of vehicle repairs.
- Excellent mechanicals repairs skills.
- Driving license may be required.
- At least 3-5 years of experience.
- Strong ethical standard.
- Computer literate. ( word, Excel, Power point, Internet and Access)
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to give presentations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Swahili and English.
- Flexibility to work beyond normal working hours and weekends Ability to multi task and prioritize effectively.

- Set up components for welding according to specifications and match measurements.
- Repairs machinery and vehicles and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.

- Proved experience in using tools materials and methods.
- Safety course will be added advantage
- Proved experience as welder.
- Experience using a variety of welding equipments and procedures.
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools.
- At least 3-5 years of experience

POSITION: HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENTS MECHANICAL -1 POST
REPORT: WORKSHOP AND MANAGER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Examine machines and oversee diagnostics test to determine functionality problems.
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximization of reliability.
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machines
- Visits site to inspect heavy duty equipments
- Plan and established timetable to complete repairs and maintenance aiming to avoid big breakdown.
- To test and confirm safe and proper operation
- Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades a proper record of what has been maintained.
- Monitor inventory and advice on ordering of new spare parts and consulting with workshop manager or workshop supervisor first.
- Schedule future maintenance sessions and advice on good machines heavy equipments use.
