Sous Chef – Hot Kitchen
Requirements:
The incumbent for the job should meet the following minimum requirements:
- 5 years of experience in cooking, out of those at least two years at level of Chef De partie; equivalent.
- Apprenticeship or Certification from culinary school preferred, preferably Diploma level.
- Additional certifications or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and food hygiene regulations (example: HACCP).
- Good communication and organizational skills, Team player.
- Leadership skills.
- Fluent in English verbal and written knowledge.
- Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
- Preparing high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes.
- Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.
- Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.
- Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use.
- Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.
- Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Efficiently resolving issues with customers’ orders.
- Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed.
- Supervising and training staff members,.
Pastry Sous-Chef (m/f)
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in “Fine-dining” Pastry.
- Apprenticeship or Certification course from culinary school preferred.
- Additional certifications(e.g. diet chef, industrial chefjappreciated.
- Knowledge of food safety and food hygiene regulations (example: HACCP).
- Production-, staff planing, order-optimization.
- Good communication and organizational skills, Leadership skills.
- Fluent in English verbal and written.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating Pastry section of the kitchen, liaising with Executive- & Sous- chefs.
- Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
- Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
- Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
- Meeting customers to discuss and plan custom-made desserts and pastries
- Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients.
- Ordering supplies, ingredients, equipment for the pastry section, when needed.
- Ensuring that all kitchen area adheres to safety and health regulations.
- Supervising and training staff members.
6 Truck Drivers (m/f)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate trucks and vehicles.
- Follow instructions and procedures.
- Pre-inspect truck.
- Pick up services, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
- Load and unload cargo; assist in Catering activities in production and operations.
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance.
- Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
