Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) is an apex private sector
organization, formally incorporated under the Companies Act (Cap 212) on
4th November 1998. As a focal private sector organization in Tanzania,
mandated to promote private sector development and ensure effective
engagement with the private and public sector.
TPSF has been at the forefront in championing social-economic transformation and advocating for reforms to enhance Tanzania’s business environment and investment climate. TPSF provides a platform for the private sector to engage in Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) at the local, national and international levels. The Foundation opens potential markets for it’s members through business forums and participation in local and international trade fairs, as well as offering programs to build the capacity of members to become competitive. Tanzania is endowed with diverse natural resources and having immense potential expand markets both regionally and globally. It is among the leading investment destinations in Africa, and currently undertaking deliberate measures to reform the Business environment and investment climate.
