Tanzania Food and Nutrition Centre (TFNC) is a Government institution
under the Ministry of Health (MoH) established by the Act of Parliament
CAP 109.
The Centre is involved in spearheading national responses to nutrition and to ensure a coordinated, effective and efficient approach to tackling all forms of malnutrition. It provides strategic leadership to all sectors; strengthens multi-sector coordination and collaboration; advocates for resources for nutrition; promotes harmonization and alignment of sector financing; provides guidance, training and technical support to implementing agencies and monitors and evaluates nutrition programming progress.
