Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City,
seeks Linkage and Retention Assistants to be based in Mwanza, Mara and
Kagera, Tanzania.
The Retention assistants (Specific task) are responsible for following up
the linkage to care, initiation of HIV treatment, and retention in care
of beneficiaries diagnosed with HIV through the FIKIA project which a
community-based HIV prevention program. The Linkage and Retention
specific tasks assistants’ responsibilities include identification of
clients who are not linked to or retained in care, and follow-up of
these clients to ensure they achieve viral load suppression. Linkage
& Retention specific tasks assistants follow up cases between
community and facility-based service delivery to ensure continuity of
care.

ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the
Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City,
seeks HIVST Assistants to be based in Kigoma and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The HIVST assistant is responsible to manage the day-to-day field
implementation of a community-based HIV prevention program targeting key
and vulnerable populations (KVP). One of the primary roles will be to
coordinate and supervise community-based HIV self-test services for
target beneficiaries. S/he will work closely with the field officer and
be the primary liaison with healthcare service providers (HCW) from
health facilities. S/he will work closely with the peers and form the
link between the targeted beneficiaries and the HCW from health
facilities.
