Minister Ummy: Recruitment of 6000 teachers was finalized and will be announced within a week from now

Minister of State Office of the President Regional Administration and Local Government Hon. Ummy Mwalimu has said 6000 teacher jobs will be advertised very soon from now and no job will be offered contrary to the procedure.
Minister Ummy said this today while inspecting the construction of Hospital in Chemba District.
Minister Ummy rebuked the civil servants who are very selfish to the people of Chemba, She said primary schools needs more teachers, she explained, can you imagine that more than 1000 Schools doesn't have physics teachers and our country's plan is to move to the industrial Economy, how can this be possible if we have such shortages? Minister Ummy said there are scams popping up in the streets saying that 6000 vacancies will not be advertised so they should be sent money so that they can allocate centers for teachers who are in need and the job, that is a scam The government does not charge money for employment
He urged teachers who intend to apply for the positions to be patient until they are announced and the Government will do justice to all those who have applied for the vacancies in accordance with the rules, regulations and guidelines of the public service.
In addition, Minister Ummy said that the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the President Regional Administration and Local Government Prof. Riziki Shemdoe has begun investigating whether the scammers are employees of the Office of the President-PMO-RALG orstreet people who are demanding money from people with the promise of employment and if it is found that strict action will be taken against an employee who commits acts of fraud.
