Summary:
Analyzes and prepares financial reports, optimizes workflow, and harmonizes processes to ensure the accurate and timely close. Coordinates and documents accounting processes based on different ERP systems. Manages the monthly preparation, review and analysis of global operating results, and reconciliation .The senior accountant will provide oversight to various accounting processes including mentoring more junior staff.

Key Job Outcomes:
- Award Administration: Tracks key indicators and project spending for Pathfinder awards. Prepares donor required invoices and financial reports in accordance with award terms and condition. Maintains award data in Pathfinder’s award management system. Works with country office teams to develop budget revisions for existing awards. Provides budgetary review for sub-awards and project related procurement. Assists in the response of program specific financial audits.
- Budgeting: Prepares budgets and budget narratives for cost proposals in compliance with donor requirements and Pathfinder policies. Serves as budget liaison for partner organizations during proposals. Assists in the preparation of country office annual budgets.
- Capacity Building: Works with GB&R Manager to provide training to country office staff to improve financial management capacity of staff.
