NECTA Certificate of Secondary Education Examination(CSEE) This is an achievement test offered to candidates who have completed four years of secondary education in Tanzania so as to get those who will pass their exams to join with advanced level for two year to study form five and six, also to get students who will be chosen to join various technical College in Tanzania.
RESULTS FORM FOUR 2020: NECTA SAYS PERFORMANCE INCREASES BY 5.19%
Executive Secretary of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA), Dr. Charles Msonde, said 373,958 School Candidates (85.84%) out of 434,654 who took the Form Four National Examinations in 2020 have passed
He explained that the number is an increase of 5.19 percent compared to the results of the 2019 Examinations where the number of successful candidates was 340,914 (80.65%)
He said 193,672 girls equivalent to 85.44% passed the exams while boys were 182,086 equivalent to 86.27%. About 490,213 candidates were registered to take the examinations

4. Njombe (M) (Schools 26) -Njombe
Bariadi (M) (Schools 16) – Simiyu
6. Kibondo (Schools 22) – Kigoma
7. Moshi (M) (Schools 23) – Kilimanjaro
8. Kibaha (M) (Schools 38) – Coast
9. Moshi (Schools 95) – Kilimanjaro
10. Mtwara (M) (Schools 20) – Mtwara
