Main Responsibilities
- Participation in the ICT work streams of card business projects involving setup of products in ATMs/POS terminals, Transaction switch, CMS, TPP systems, Acquiring Platforms, International Schemes systems, Card & PIN production system, E-Commerce and Clearing & Settlement Systems etc.
- Provide technical support in end-to-end life cycle of NMB card business
- Second level support for branches & ICT Help desk on all NMB ATM cards issuance and other bank cards acquiring incidents
- NMB’s contact point to the Third Party Processer (TPP) on Interface / integration issues, card issuing & acquiring issues, reconciliation & settlement issues, etc.
- Extraction and upload (exchange) of Card data and any other information from / to TPP and other Platform Vendors;
- Coordinate card production & personalization process internally as well as TPP until delivery of cards to branches.
- Support applications & database infrastructure used for production, storage, distribution, processing and usage of cards.
- Accountable for end-to-end security of NMB cards and systems
- Manage migration process of all proprietary NMB ATM cards to Card Scheme branded together with card production and personalization vendors.
- Supervision of EMV and PCI certification process for all platforms, equipment’s and terminals.
- Support Value Added Services from different Channels including ATM, POS, Mobile, E-commerce, and Digital Payment Systems like QR code etc.

Position: MEP Systems Engineer
Job Purpose
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the bank’s Data Centers Power, Cooling, Physical security, access control & other low voltage systems at the bank’s Primary and DR Data Centers.

Main Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring, troubleshooting, resolve or escalate to vendors incidents related to the Data Centers Power (Utility feeds, Electrical Systems, Generator systems, UPS, battery strings, etc.), Fuel oil Systems, BMS, DCIM, Physical security, access control & other low and Extra Low Voltage systems.
- Coordinate planning and execution of routine maintenance tasks
- Inspect data centers facilities and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions
- Provide statistics and reports to aid in management decisions.
- Facilities management, including risk identification, incident response and customer support.
- Operational support for customers through the provisioning of rack space, requesting data communications connections, and deploying IT infrastructure into the rack space.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure compliance to the original design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
- Investigate electrical failures and suggest effective and efficient solutions to the line manager and respective vendor.
- Proactively monitor electrical systems parameters, produce monthly reports and suggest modifications / improvements and up gradations to the line manager
- Ensure effective routine and emergency maintenance of all electrical systems is by the respective vendors.
- Minimize operational costs associated with first level support and Comprehensive Preventive maintenance (PM) of all electric systems done by respective vendors.
- Prepare various monthly report of electrical systems performance to the line manager.
Position: Power Systems Administrator
Job Purpose
Caretaker of all electric power systems (Wiring systems, Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), AVRs, Inverters, Solar / Wind Power systems, etc.) installed in all Bank branches, Cash Collection Points (CCP) and offsite ATM locations.
Main Responsibilities
•
Maintain updated inventory of all branch power systems asset installed
in in branches, Cash Collection Points (CCP) and offsite ATMs and their
maintenance history.

Supervise new installations, maintenance, repair and testing of
electrical systems, equipment, facilities and components of electrical
systems used by the bank in branches, Cash Collection Points (CCP) and
offsite ATMs to ensure that their done correctly according to technical
specifications, international standards, safety (earthing, surge /
lightning protection, etc.) and bank requirements.

Position: Senior Specialist; Solution Architect (3 positions)
Reporting Line: Head; Innovation and Development
Job Purpose
In
charge of leading the practice and introducing the overall technical
vision for a particular solution that is intended to address specific
business needs, requirements or problems.
The
solution architect works in a unit which aims to ensure there is a
clear process of developing solutions based on predefined processes,
guidelines and best practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Play a leading role in setting the architecture and design for current /new emerging bank products and technological solutions.
- Ensure there is a clear system requirement (technical) for all products/solutions.
- Ensure sign-off of solution design or solution architect.
- Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability.
- Propose an implementation mode e.g. vendor, internal development (allocate the priority for internal developers with the hybrid, off the shelf RFI /RFP guidance – to be presented at the solution design committee.
- Provide accurate development effort estimates for solutions designed by vendors and internal development team
- Provide detailed system specification documents, map business requirements to optimal systems requirements; produce detailed functional/configuration designs/specifications and data architecture to match solution design specifications
- Define application problems by discussing solutions with the IT team on evaluating procedures and processes.
- Ensure there are controls solution by establishing specifications; coordinating production with programmers/internal developers.
- Validate results by testing programs, Innovation lab and product owners/solution owner’s.
- Prepare Scrum artifacts including; product backlog, spring backlog, and increments.
- Following the scrum methodology to ensure all digital initiatives are implemented in an agile manner
- Regular update the sprints documents and ensure stakeholders have been informed accordingly.
- Coordinate efforts / activities of all scrum team involved in each implementation
- Coordinate System Administration training on the new platforms/systems that have been implemented.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training and reconciliation process.
