Purpose of the position:
Facilitate integration of Faith and Development in World Vision Tanzania.Observe mission and core values of World Vision and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others
Major Responsibilities

Facilitate capacity building programs for staff spiritual formation and church partnership

Coordinate periodic assessment on the profile and protocol of the churches for smooth and workable Partnership
-
Capacity building initiatives to grassroots Church leaders and ministers
-
Facilitate training to local churches and FBOs for integration of Channels of Hope (CoH) initiatives in programs/projects
-
Review program/projects documents for the quality integration of FD initiatives PDDs and AOPs
-
Prepare and timely submit quality reports
-
Develop concept papers and proposals for Faith and Development funding
-
Facilitate collection and analysis of information related to spiritual issues
-
Monitor the implementation of FD integration in programs/projects
-
Follow up on FD related internal and Global Centre (GC) audit and
evaluation/donor recommendations to ensure that they are responded to
and fully implemented
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:- Minimum Qualification required: Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences/Theology
- Experience: 5yrs
- Preferred: Masters in Social Sciences/Theology

HR Specialist- Business Partner Jobs
Purpose of the position:
This position is responsible for the coordination of key World Vision Tanzania (WVT) People & Culture (P&C) operations and systems specifically focusing on recruitment, performance management, staff development, staff benefits, compensation/payroll administration, HRIS/Our People Administration, WVT P&C Division performance reporting and analysis, staff relations and general WVT P&C/HR administration in alignment with WV mission, vision, Core Values and WVT National Office Strategy. The P&C Specialist – Business Partner is an integral part of the WVT P&C team supporting in the implementation P&C strategic, technical and administrative support, while facilitating teamwork that will enhance efficient and effective service delivery necessary to maintain a healthy WVT P&C environment.Major Responsibilities:
Business Partnering on P&C process and systems-
Acts as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers for the designated departments

Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes in each Department

Manage change management projects cross-functionally

Builds a strong business relationship with the internal client

Actively support line managers to identify gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to lover risks

Facilitate the management team to bring best solutions for employees

Implement talent management initiatives and succession plans for key talents and key job positions

Periodic review of the organizational structures with line managers and proposes changes

Provide and ensure quality and timely submission of the P&C
monthly report by 25th of the month as agreed based on the P&C
Division dashboards and the WVI P&C LEADER scorecard

Support in monitoring the P&C Division budget utilization on quarterly basis.

P&C Business Partnering with WVT hiring managers to assess and
observe the WVT P&C Division recruitment compliance, orientation and
onboarding services

Develop and monitor the WVT workforce plans and recruitment plans to
ensure timely implementation in accordance to WV P&C standards,
P&C LEADER score card and WVT budgets

Support the P&C staff wellbeing initiatives and Staff engagement
surveys as well as carry out regular HR field visits to help address
national hired staff concerns that may need attention.

Coordinate with Regional People and Culture officers in carrying out HR wellbeing surveys

Educating staff on organizational initiatives for their welfare and safety at work

Participate and be available to the quarterly meetings in other Departments for P&C initiatives

Monitor the setting of performance agreements and the periodic performance appraisal for staff at National Office and regions

Promote performance culture in world vision

Facilitate development of performance agreement for all staff

Consolidate performance management information for use in decision-making

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

Minimum Qualification required: Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration or related field Human Resource Management.

Experience: 3yrs in Human Resource Management
-
Preferred: 3 – 4 years Human Resource Management experience in a large International NGO
Technical Skills & Abilities:

Good knowledge of normal organizational policies, Tanzania labor law and legal requirements

Good skills in conflict resolution/problem solving, teamwork, crisis management, training facilitation and coaching.
