Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for a candidate with current knowledge of both local and regional market dynamics.
Going out to the market and developing sales leads for our products.
Schedule and follow through on leads
Communicate with farmers on different farming solutions
Prioritize and/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed.
Advise on appropriate purchase options where needed.
Advise on appropriate purchase options where needed.
Promote specific products as directed by upper management.
Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend customer lifetime value.
Sales of company’s farming products to different target groups
Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team.
Track all appointments, sales, complaints, status reports, etc. thoroughly for manager review.
Meet and/or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
Self-improve continuously by way of experience and manager feedback.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Agriculture and similar course
Experience Requirements
Creativity
Open minded and friendly
Interpersonal skills
Very good oral and written communication skills
Fluent in english and swahili, knowledge of 3rd language is an added advantage
Honesty
Ability to build positive relationship with clients
Ability to work in a mixed culture team
Highly motivated to work in a very professional, creative manner.
