Raleigh International is looking for enthusiastic and creative people to
join our international expeditions as a Communications Officers in
Tanzania. Want to spend 13 weeks writing blogs and articles about sustainable development projects in a remote and exciting environment?
Our programmes focus on providing access to safe water and sanitation,
protecting vulnerable environments and building more resilient
communities, all whilst developing the skills and confidence of young
people. In order to safely and effectively run our expeditions we need
volunteer managers to operate our projects and support the young
volunteers.
When can I go?
Our expeditions run every January, June & July and September and we’re now recruiting for our summer programmes in Tanzania:
• 12th June – 8th September
As a Communications Officer you will;
• Visit the project sites to gather material for the expedition blogs and social media channels
• Work closely with the Expedition volunteers and Project Managers to gather content to bring the expedition to life
• Work closely with the support team to collaboratively run the expedition field base
We encourage all our volunteers to fund raise before the expedition. This is an unpaid voluntary position however when you are in country we will cover;
• All living expenses included during the expedition – food, accommodation, equipment
• Full training and support before and during the expedition
• Travel and medical insurance included
• In country transport
