Job Summary

Job Description
We are looking for a candidate for the day-to-day running of a bakery.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include opening the bakery early in the morning, mixing dough, preparing fillings and glazing pastries, prepare different types of bread and a wide range of pastries, like cookies, cakes and pies.
To be successful in this role, you should have work experience as a bakery supervisor and baker.
Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
• Open the bakery early in the morning
• Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use
• Weigh ingredients to prepare baked goods
• Bake and shape different bread and baked goods types, like multigrain breads, pastries, biscuits, cakes, etc.
• Awareness with bakery equipment and settings to ensure proper baking
• Awareness with various ingredients to create different baked goods
• Recommend recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers (e.g. gluten-free or vegan)
• Track stock of food supplies and place orders for restocking, as needed
Requirements
• Working experience 4 – 5 years
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
• Certification from a culinary school is a plus

The candidate should be proficient in all areas of tire fitting and will also need to be required to have sound knowledge and experience in carrying out wheel alignments.
The successful applicant must also be able to demonstrate the ability to accurately diagnose and rectify mechanical faults found in steering, suspension and braking systems.
Sales and computer skills advantageous, must be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure vehicle to lift to ensure safe operation

Citi’s Middle East and Africa regional business is looking for full-time Analysts to join the team in various locations across the region.
The MEA Analyst Program begins in July with a 4-week training program (in Johannesburg or Dubai). Formal training begins with an orientation and induction sessions providing an overview of Citi, followed by classroom training sessions. Analysts have the opportunity to meet representatives from the teams that make up the Banking, TTS, Operations and Risk divisions.
The classroom training program is followed by 4 x 3-month rotations across various functions of Citi, including Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS), Corporate Bank and Operations. In some countries analysts have a rotation in Risk, in others this will be replaced with another business area.

The jobs that you will do and the responsibilities that you will be given will be as varied as your rotations. Below are some examples of the tasks the Analyst may be performing during their rotations. These are only examples – you will also often find yourself working on unique projects and process improvements.
Corporate Bank
  • Source and create pitch and marketing material, liaising with product partners and the Bankers.
  • Maintain regular and frequent dialogue with product partners to assist with relationship maintenance
  • Assist in managing the Corporate Banking relationship infrastructure, including approvals and documentation.
  • Produce and update client plans in conjunction with product partners and bankers.
  • Collaborate within the team to manage the portfolio and individual client risk.
  • Interact with Citi’s network around the region.
Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS)
  • Develop an understanding of the cash, trade and sales products and processes.
  • Track market developments across the region and share geopolitical, economic and banking industry trends that may affect the business with a consultative approach.
  • Prepare and analyze financials while ensuring actuals and run-rated projections meet the business plans.
  • Liaise with partners across TTS to capture key client and product pipelines/wins are to be showcased in business reviews.
Risk
  • Develop an understanding of and be able to apply at an analyst level: Risk reporting, spreading, risk ratings, Corporate/FI/public sector Credit Analysis writing, stress testing.
  • Understanding projections, scenarios, assumptions and variance analysis.
  • Reading and interpreting cash flow statements, balance sheet, income statements etc.
  • Taking part in client calls / site visits.
  • Understanding regulatory requirements and impact on the organization.

Operations
  • Develop a good understanding and appreciation of the operations processes. Understand the functions carried out within the subunits of operations.
  • Analyze volumes, address & resolve issues, identify wasteful activities and suggest improvements that can save cost/time/improve processes.
  • Understand workflow, key controls and key risks linked to various products. Accurately evaluate risks as they relate to key business objectives. Assess the effectiveness of key controls.
  • Develop an understanding of the impact of regulatory and financial impacts on the organization.

Position: Quality Manager
Description
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Responsible for planning and managing all activities related to quality assurance and control of seed products as well as the QMS in Tanzania. This role will also be responsible for the lab and relevant Quality Control tests for all phases in production, processing and storage of Bayer hybrid seed in Tanzania
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Promote an actively caring culture for quality in Tanzania.
• Responsible for lab management and seed analysis.
• Ensure implementation of government regulations and Bayer’s corporate quality programs and standards.
• Develop and present training related to keeping our quality standards as well as ISO management systems.
• Plan and manage the collection and processing of samples from Foundation Seed to Fields and Plant for testing – physical purity, Vigor testing, genetic purity, grow outs, etc. to ensure that genetic purity of our seed stocks is maintained as per Bayer and industry set standards.
• Continuously monitor and quality assure field production processes to ensure that a high standard of quality in field production is maintained.
• Responsible for complaint handling and investigation and ensure timely resolution
• Generate reports and incident rates required for the evaluation and measurement of our quality program and our ISO Management system.
• Where seed does not meet Quality, Standards make recommendations for write offs to prevent bad quality seed being sold to our customers while managing SAP QM programs for Tanzania.
• Responsible for budget control in the quality department and supporting the production teams with cost optimization while ensuring reliability, quality, and speed to market objectives.
• Maintain high levels of engagement and collaboration between operations, local functions, and regional quality counterparts. 
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED.

• Degree in Seed technology or any other relevant agricultural field
• At least 5 years’ experience in quality management or relevant field.
• Experience in seed analysis is essential.
• Theoretical and practical course in Seed Science
• Experience with implementation of International Rules for Seed Testing (ISTA) rules
• Proficiency and auditing experience with ISO 9001 standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
