OVERVIEW
The Eastern Africa National Networks of AIDS and Health Service Organization’s
(EANNASO), is a network that brings together National Networks in seven
Eastern Africa Countries, namely: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania (including
Zanzibar), Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, and South Sudan.
EANNASO’s mission is to increase the contribution of Civil Society and
Community groups in eliminating HIV, TB and other associated diseases
through strengthened coordination, programmatic alliance, capacity
development and creation of an enabling legal and policy environment.
EANNASO is seeking to recruit competent candidates in the following
positions:
Job title: Human Resources and Administration Officer
Report to: Finance and Administration Manager

JOB PURPOSE
To manage human resources and general administration at the Secretariat.
SPECIFIC TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily job duties and responsibilities of HR and administration officer include:
- Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
- Recruitment
- Recording and maintaining human resource and administration documents and database
- Supports Finance and Administration Manager in reviewing and updating Human Resources Management Policies and Procedures
- Develops staff training plans and coordinates training programmes for staff
- Coordinates annual performance appraisal
- Maintain and update staff benefits records
- Ensures employees have appropriate facilities and tools
- Facilitate procurement and servicing of EANNASO equipment
- Support meeting logistics
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Minimum Academic Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and other related fields.
- Work Experience 2 years in an NGO setting
Report to: Finance and Administration Manager
Location: Arusha, Tanzania
JOB PURPOSE
Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data: preparing reports.
SPECIFIC TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining financial books of accounts
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Complies with national financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Prepares periodic financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Support development of budgets during proposal development and activity implementation.
- Ensure annual audits are performed and provides relevant documents to auditors.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Minimum Academic Qualifications
Bachelors degree (Accounts) or CPA/ACCA
Work Experience 3-4 years in an NGO setting
