Position: Supply Clerk
Summary:
Manages
inventory and the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) for all
nonexpendable property in the warehouse and other functional space.
Under direct supervision of Furniture/Appliance Pool (FAP) Manager.
Duties
ILMS Asset Management: 60%
Makes
appropriate entries into ILMS Asset Management using supporting
documentation. Records movement of NXP items and maintains accurate
inventory notes for all missing/disposed items as well as up-to-date
records of all NXP. Maintains accurate location codes, monitors ILMS
dashboard and ILMS Analytics to ensure Post is in line with ILMS
property management recommendations.
Maintains property condition codes/Auction assistance: 40%
Maintains
signed DS584's (property transaction documents). Also assists with
property disposal auction by preparing DS132's (Property disposal
documents) withing three days after auction. She/he maintains auction
close out files by ensuring that copies are distributed to to the
respective Agencies like AID, CDC, P/Corps, DOD etc. Inform Officer when
there is excessive damage to property. Suggests sales or disposal
when the property has exceeded useful life or is in poor condition.
Job holder will perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements
At least two years experience in Office Management or storekeeping is required.
Education Requirements
Completion of Secondary School (form IV) is required. Certificate in Store keeping or Office Management is required.
Evaluations
- Level III (good working knowledge, speaking, reading and writing) in English is required (This will be tested)
- Level IV (fluent, speaking, reading and writing) in Kiswahili is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills. Computer skills (Microsoft word suite) is required.
- Driving license class D is required.

The U.S. Mission in Dar es Salaam is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Public Health Specialist - Branch Deputy at CDC.
Duties
The incumbent serves as a principal
assistant and key advisor to the CDC Country Director in the design,
implementation, coordination, and evaluation of a broad range of
CDC-funded Human and Institutional Capacity Building (HICB) activities
in Tanzania. Incumbent provides leadership and technical oversight in
the development, implementation, and evaluation of HICB programs. The
job holder is the key liaison with senior government of Tanzania
officials at the highest level. The incumbent works closely with the
supervisor to ensure that all program activities contribute to
measurable results that are in accordance with agency regulations,
PEPFAR strategic objectives, international ethical guidelines and
standards for public health care.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements: Five years of mid-to-senior level public health experience developing, implementing and evaluating HICB programs or other relevant HIV public health programs that involve coordination with an international agency or implementing partner is required. Two additional years of experience at the supervisory level with multiple staff is required.
Education Requirement: The position requires a Master’s level degree in Public Health or development. Specialization in education, health or international development is required.
