Position: Director of Sales - Arusha
The Director of Sales is responsible for managing, overseeing, planning, leading and monitoring all activities of the Sales / Revenue and Reservations functions of the Lodge. Working closely with the General Manager and the Director of Public Relations on all Marketing Activities / Marketing Communications and Public Relations.
The Director of Sales is responsible for managing, overseeing, planning, leading and monitoring all activities of the Sales / Revenue and Reservations functions of the Lodge. The position will be based between our Arusha office and the Lodge in
Serengeti and will also require frequent international travel.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have a Higher qualification in Business Administration, Hotel or Leisure Management
- Minimum of five years Sales experience in the luxury hotel industry in both European and Western markets
- Must speak 1 -2 international languages. (French, Arabic or Spanish would bean advantage)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and hotel property management systems.
- Strong media knowledge and public presentation skills
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills for dealing with a local and internationally based team
