Overview: Tazama Pipelines Limited, an interstate organization owned by the United
Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Zambia and which deals in
transportation of crude oil from Dar es Salaam to Ndola, Zambia, wishes
to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the
under-mentioned post.

O’Level education
Certificate in earth moving equipment operations or equivalent (class E,F and G)
Two years working experience
Be able to travel long distance at short notice.
PIPELINE WELDER (one post)
QUALIFICATIONS:

Certificate in welding and metal fabrication or equivalent
Two years working experience
Be able to travel long distance at short notice.
INSTRUMENTS TECHNICIAN (one post)
QUALIFICATIONS:
O’Level education
Diploma/FTC in electrical/instrumentation engineering
Be able to travel on long distance at short notice.

1968 and is owned by the government of the Republic of Zambia with 66.7%
share capital and the government of the United Republic of Tanzania
with 33.3% share capital.
The company was formed for the purpose of cheaply transporting crude oil or its petroleum products from the port of Dar-es-Salaam into landlocked Zambia. TAZAMA owns, operates and maintains a crude oil pipeline from the port of Dar-es-Salaam to INDENI Refinery in Ndola covering a total distance of 1,710km (954km is 8 inch pipeline and 798km is 12 inch pipeline).
