The Madope Hydro Company Limited (MAHCOL) is focusing on increasing the outreach and service quality of its Energy products for Ludewa people. The Company has the largest electricity generation, transmission and distribution network in Ludewa. In order to reach its goals, the Company will, in the coming years invest heavily in its generation, transmission and distribution network, its business systems and human capital. POSITION: PLANT OPERATOR (1 POST)

REPORT TO: TECHNICAL MANAGER

WORKSTATION: LUGARAWA LUDEWA

POSITION OBJECTIVES

Handle general operations of the plant to ensure quality and reliable power generation. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Taking multiple time readings as it has been scheduled

 Preventive maintenance

 Corrective maintenance

 Condition-based maintenance

 Operator-based maintenance

 Reactive maintenance

KEY KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB

 Diploma/FTC in Electrical or Mechanical

 Registered by Engineers Registration Board.

 One year working experience

 Computer knowledge
