Overview
TIB Development Bank Limited is a Development Financing Institution (DFI) wholly owned by the Government of United Republic of Tanzania. The bank has been established and exists under the Companies Act, 2002. The main focus of TIB Development Bank as a premier national DFI is on national projects that aim at the attainment of Tanzania’s Development Vision 2025. The bank’s mandate is to support the Government in achieving rapid economic growth through the development of industries, infrastructure, services sectors, as well as oil and gas sectors. In this regard, activities of TIB have specifically expanded and the bank now invites suitable, qualified and skilled applicants to fill the following available position:-PRINCIPAL FINANCE OFFICER – FINANCIAL REPORTING AND BUDGETING
Nature and Scope
The successful candidate will report to the Manager Financial reporting and budgeting. She/he will be responsible to ensure correct records are maintained in bank systems and that reports produced are timely and reliable. Coordinating the reports from the subsidiaries where required and preparing consolidated position of the bank and Prepare Financial Reports for the Managed funds Accounts.Key Responsibilities
- Managing the financial reporting system of the bank by ensuring that data are correctly pulled by the system to generate all reports.
- Prepare Treasury Registrar quarterly and annual reports
- To prepare all statutory daily, weekly, monthly quarterly and yearly reports.
- Publication of Quarterly Financial Statements as required by the Bank of Tanzania.
- Coordinate Bank of Tanzania Examination. To prepare financial statements for consolidation in the Government accounts as may be required from time to time.
- To ensure timely submission of all statutory returns/levies
- To supervise the work of junior staff at the Directorate of finance.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
- Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.
- Must possess a recognized accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, and CPA (T).
- 5years relevant experience in a commercial bank/financial or related institution Ability to analyze and interpret Tax laws and other Regulatory implications on financial statements and make recommendations.
- Strong leadership and well developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- The highest degree of integrity.
- Must be computer literate.

SENIOR FINANCE OFFICER – FINANCIAL REPORTING AND BUDGETING
Nature and Scope
The successful candidate will report to the Manager Financial reporting and budgeting. Co-ordinate the reports from the subsidiaries where required and preparing consolidated position of the bank. Prepare Financial Reports for the Managed funds Accounts.Key Responsibilities
- Coordination of Internal and External Audit of the bank annual Financial Statement and responding to all their issues.
- To prepare monthly and Quarterly Management reports as may be required including analysis covering different aspects as may be directed.
- To prepare Quarterly BARC and Board reports and as may be required.
- Coordination of Parliamentary Committees reports as may be required from time to time.
- To advise on proper capturing of information so as to be able to report and analyze the reports correctly.
- Handling the bank's income tax issues including ensuring that all relevant legislation is well understood.
- To supervise the work of junior staff at the Directorate of finance.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
