Job Title: OFFICE ATTENDANT (REF: EAC/HR/2019-18/06)

Department: Mergers and Acquisition
Reports to: Deputy Registrar
Main Purpose of the Job:
To provide efficient office support services and run errands for the East African Competition Authority.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake mail delivery and collection, message delivery, and payment of bills as may be assigned;
- Provide support service within the office such as photocopying, binding and franking;
- Undertake record management duties including filing;
- Perform simple administrative duties including follow-up on finance and procurement issues;
- Perform office cleaning duties;
- Prepare and ensure office refreshments are served to staff & visitors as per office schedules;
- Provide timely delivery and collection services of documents;
- Promote a positive corporate culture and image of the Community; and
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
An Advanced Level Certificate (Secondary Education) and about five
years’ experience in a similar position in a busy organization. Any
other training higher than secondary school education will be an added
advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
Good interpersonal skills, public relations, customer care skills, basic computer knowledge and able to communicate in English.
Eligibility for applications:

Terms and Conditions of Service:
The above position is tenable for a contract of six (6) months.
