Position: COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER
Nature and Scope:
The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director. He/She will be responsible for management of bank’s internal and external communication including, provision of public relations and protocol services; maintenance of bank’s relationship with stakeholders and the media; bank’s engagement with the Government and other external partners as well as marketing of bank’s products and services to the public. 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage implementation of bank’s Communication Strategy;
  2. Develop and manage the bank’s relationship with business associates, Government Ministries/Departments/Agencies, Embassies and the general public;
  3. Formulate and implement appropriate market strategies and plans so as to attain set objectives,Provide input in formulating Bank strategy policies and procedures to match with customer’s taste and behavior,
  4. Monitor local news media, analyze and review news and business events to inform management of significant developments and identify emerging issues that might impact on the bank’s image;
  5. Plan, prepare and layout and design marketing materials, including leaflets, brochures, press releases, business leaflets, and develop/ manage a website aimed at promoting the bank’s products and image.
  6. Liaise with news media including issuance of press releases and responding to media inquiries concerning the bank;
  7. Coordinate advertising, marketing and promotion work for the bank’s products and services including management of branding for the bank;
  8. Organize and arrange news conferences, press/publicity events, exhibitions and trade fairs;
  9. Prepare and conduct bank’s awareness programs to disseminate key information to the public on bank undertakings and developments;
  10. Represent the bank and act as the spokesperson in public events;
  11. Coordinate protocol and other logistics related to handling of bank visitors from within and outside the country;
  12. Coordinate engagement of the bank with internal and external stakeholders and bank responses to quests;
  13. Manage and update the bank’s website;
  14. Carry out any other related duties as may be assigned to him/her by the Managing Director from time to time.
Qualifications
  1. Master’s degree/post graduate qualifications in Public Relations, international Relations, Business Administration or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a banking/financial or related institution at the Senior Officer level. (experience in financial institution is an added advantage)
  3. Must be a team player, very self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize work load with minimum supervision;
  4. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  5. Knowledge of marketing and communications issues.
  6. Knowledge of banking products and procedures.
  7. Ability to communicate and present information well both orally and written.
  8. Must have good communication skills and able to write press releases and reports
  9. Ability to understand the scope of own authority and know when to highlight issues and seek authorization / advice.
Position: BUSINESS PROCESS/ RE- ENGINEERING MANAGER
Nature and Scope:
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Information Communication Technology. He/ she will work with all departments and external stakeholders to redesign bank’s business processes so as to improve their efficiency 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide the bank with management consulting on organization process redesign and introduction of business processes.
  2. Assist with the analysis and implementation of process improvements as a team leader • Support and influence processes change initiatives and assist business departments with writing proposals on required solutions for improving their efficiency.
  3. Support the acquisition of new technology by participating in Proof of Concepts, documenting requirements, and evaluating solution capabilities.
  4. Analyze data and assess performance of implemented ICT solutions against specified requirements for optimization.
  5. Assists in managing projects, creating project charters,baseline/project metrics, data collection plans, pilot plans,control plans, high-level training/implementation plans, etc.
  6. Carry out any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Managing Director from time to time.
Qualifications
  1. Master’s Degree/Postgraduate qualifications in IT systems management or Business Administration (preferably) with undergraduate degree / qualifications in information technology related fields.
  2. Minimum of 4 years relevant experience, of which 2 must be in a senior level in reputable company (experience in financial institution is an added advantage)
  3. Knowledge of business and information systems environment
  4. Demonstrated project management skills
  5. Experience with business transformation and business process redesign with the support of IT systems
  6. Knowledge of As-Is and To-Be business process mapping and how to tie processes to IT system requirements, including financial management or ERP
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively a with business users and project team while providing objective insights that support a change management mindset
  8. Professional Certifications in change management and project management
  9. Strong written and communication skills with ability to write reports in a concise and focused style;
  10. Must be a team player, very self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize work load with minimum supervision;

Position: LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Nature and Scope:
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Human Resources and Management. He/She will be responsible for establishment of learning strategies and performance programmes. 

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for establishment of the training and performance programmes
  2. Developing and implementing learning strategies and programs
  3. Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
  4. Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
  5. Ensure through training and development the bank’s human resources have the appropriate job related skills and knowledge needed for desired productivity;
  6. Ensure all employee performance programs have appropriate learning & development activities attached;
  7. Create records of employees’ training activities and report on outcomes;
  8. Design, develop and oversee a staff performance appraisal system for the Bank;
  9. Carry out any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Managing Director from time to time.

Position: CHIEF OF STAFF
Nature and Scope:

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director. He/she will be responsible for supporting the Managing Director in achieving his objectives, which include the development and execution of the strategic agenda and driving key initiatives whilst balancing strategy, financial performance, people & talent, risk management, business conduct, governance and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy

  1. Play a leading role in the development of the strategic agenda and help drive its execution;
  2. Coordinate, prepare and create strategic reviews and business plans on a regular basis;
  3. Assist in the delivery of the management agenda taking the lead to identify and drive initiatives designed to build the business, improve financial performance, balance sheet management, operating efficiency, risk and people management;
  4. Identify and address the top issues/opportunities for performance improvement across the team.Business Planning & Support

Finance & Reporting
  1. Assist in the annual revenue/cost budget and forecasting process;
  2. Provide financial analysis as required;
  3. Work with Management to maintain a rigorous cost and investment discipline across the Bank;
  4. Develop & maintain an effective MIS and reporting cycle to monitor business momentum and to pro-actively highlight potential issues;
  5. Develop & maintain regular reports (i.e. Monthly and Quarterly Reports, etc.)

People & Talent
  1. Support development and execution of people plans and HR priorities across the Bank;
  2. Support in the development of succession plans that identify gaps in the bench-strength, subsequently implementing action plans to ensure ready-now talent is available;
  3. Drive an environment of collaboration, both within the team and across the Bank, to ensure issues are raised and blockages are resolved in a timely manner.

Risk Management & Audit Control & Governance
  • Assist the MD in pro-actively identifying and mitigating risks;
  • Work complianceenvironment;
  • Play a leading role in Audit Socialization;
  • Source evidence showing appropriate risk measures are in place;
  • Work with the Head of Audit to track relevant audit issues and appropriate management actions and ensure closure within a timely manner;
  • Develop Monthly GCC Risk Updates and highlight issues in a timely manner when appropriate.

Control & Governance
  • Be responsible for maintaining a strong and appropriate control environment;
  • Assist the MD to drive improvement of the governance environment;
  • Act to minimize operational loss and audit failures, ensure appropriate focus on issues and resolutions and ensure lessons learnt are addressed;
  • Support business and Operational Risk to ensure appropriate focus on High Risk and Very High Risk issues raised and other material risks raised in our various clusters they are properly mitigated ensuring appropriate escalation where appropriate;
  • Ensure the appropriate governance for committee meetings is in place and highlight issues in a timely manner when appropriate.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree/Postgraduate qualifications in Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Accounts, Human Resources,Public Administration, or related discipline;

Position: HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION
Description
Nature and Scope:

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director. He/she will be responsible for the Human Resources and Administrative Services policy development and implementation, geared towards attainment of the strategic objectives and goals of the bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop appropriate human resource or administrative services policies and procedures and ensure their effective implementation.
  • To prepare budgets in the respective areas, obtain approval budget.
  • To coordinate the selection, recruitment, induction,placement and manpower planning.
  • To provide guidance to both management and staff on all matters relating to industrial employee relations including terms and conditions of service.
  • To ensure provision of effective and efficient office and other administrative services including timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services, such as stationery, other office supplies,transport, cleaning, physical security, telephone, fax,email and messenger services and maintenance of company assets.
  • To develop targeted training plans for the bank and ensure their implementation.
  • To prepare, co-ordinate and manage the performance management system of the bank.
  • To develop and manage the bank’s relationship with various stakeholders, such as government offices,suppliers,customers and the general public.
  • To co-ordinate and arrange the bank’s functions,conferences and staff get together.
  • To prepare periodic reports to the Management and Board on Human Resources and Administrative Services.
  • To carry out any other duties

Qualifications
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree/Postgraduate qualifications in Human
  • Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration or related discipline;
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience, of which 4 must be in a senior level in reputable company or financial institution;
  • Excellent and well developed interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Leadership, motivation and people management skills;
  • Strong written and communication skills with ability to write reports in a concise and focused style;
  • Must be a team player, very self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize work load with minimum supervision;
  • Highly developed Computer skills;
  • Possession of knowledge of the banking industry and its related laws, regulations, policies and procedures will be an added advantage
