Roles:
- Manage systems running & database systems including storage, monitoring & back up responsibilities
- Operate solutions & systems using industry standard tools (Puppet, Nagios, splunk)
- Maintain the CMDB of all IT related items
- Report on system health & escalate issues if needed
- Maintain the DRP location & support the SLA enforcement of the solution
- Manage IT vendor contacts
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience of system administration
- Background in service provision in a production environment such as data centre or customer consulting services
- Experience with operating system administration specifically Microsoft windows server & client
- Experience with Linux Administration, specifically Redhat distribution
- Experienced system architecture design including resource calculation, high availability, security & administration complexity
- Experience with virtualization technology (Vmare), MS office, Antivirus & VPN management
- LDAP, User and administrator access and administration
- Knowledge of ITIL & system administration best practices
- MSCE certification strongly preferred, CISCO certification also a plus.
- RHCSA Certification strongly preferred
- Preferably a Master degree in technical field or Bachelor’s with extensive relevant experience.

- Develop & implement approved HR policies that are in line with country best practices
- Organize the recruitment, hiring, selection, vetting & on boarding process following company recruitment policy & procedure
- Organize timely monthly payroll & approve for payment
- Lead disciplinary & grievance processes
- Ensure decision made & executed are in line with country labor laws & in line with company policy & procedure
- Ensure new employees are reviewed & contracts are confirmed in writing on time
- Ensure all employees have a job description, perfomances objectives set, appraisal forms are signed & appraisal is conducted as per company policy & procedure
- 3+ years experience in HR field
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Deep understanding of Tanzania Labor Laws
