Job Purpose
The Senior Health Systems Strengthening Advisor will execute and recommend strategies to improve and ensure quality, professionalism, client safety, and regulatory compliance for all PSI health areas.
What are we looking for?
-Medical degree preferably with specialization in obstetrics and gynecology;
-At least 10 years’ experience with reproductive health programming in Tanzania;
-Demonstrated ability to work with various partners including MoH, private sector medical providers, NGOs, Local governments, CBOs, and other stakeholders;
-Valid registration under the Tanzanian Medical and Dental Practitioners Association;
-Strong understanding of the clinical aspects of reproductive health services;
-Demonstrated ability to mentor technical staff and medical providers;
-Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills (excellent communication and presentation skills);
-Demonstrated ability to work well in a team as well as individually;
-Ability to work with minimum supervision;
-Good management skills; and

-Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in building and maintaining productive working relationships.
-Proven record of building teams and fostering collaboration to achieve program goals, meet program milestones, and produce quality program results.
-Knowledge of US Government (USG) health initiatives and related reporting requirements and funding parameters.
-Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English.
-Fluent in Swahili.
