Qualifications and Experiences;
- Applicant must have a B.Sc. Engineering or Diploma (Civil) in Water works.
- A diploma must have a working experience of not less than 5 years in the field of water supply field. Graduates must have a working experience of 2 years.
- Must be able to speak and write fluently in English and Swahili.
Main Duties
a. To ensure effective and efficient operation and maintenance of water scheme/ meter control.
b. To ensure that the procedures established by association for water supply are implemented.
c. To maintain intake structures pipe lines tanks and all structure of the scheme.
d. To ensure sustainability and adequate water supply.
e. To design and supervise extension for the scheme.
f. To prepare Budgets and plans.
g. To develop and implement strategies to improving revenue collection.
h. To monitor quantity and quality of water of regular basis.
i. To prepare technical and financial report on monthly basis and yearly
j. To prepare Board meetings and implement board decision.
k. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Board.
l. To advise the Board on better performance of the water services as deemed necessary.
