Attention all Service Technician!
Are you good at repairing tools, automotive machines, electronics, etc ?? Then this job is for youWe are currently looking for a Service Technicians who can provide technical service/ repairs for our products received in our service center. You will be required to perform preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as end-user assistance regarding the proper utilization of these systems.
Shift time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (M-F)
Wage: $17- $18/hr with experience
Responsibilities:
• Repairing, using various tools and measuring meters, defective equipment in order to restore it to the proper working condition.
• Assuring quality control through the completion of all scheduled preventive maintenance calls for assigned customer’s equipment in accordance with the terms of service agreements
• Providing technical and user support by directing and assisting clients in the operation of the products thereby assuring their most efficient use
• Provide technical assistance to all parties/customers/ end users and staff
• Diligently completing and submitting work orders as per set procedures. All work orders completed at the client’s site must contain serial numbers of equipment and must be signed by the client’s designated authority
• Participating in training sessions as required by the company in order to maintain adequate levels of skills and knowledge
• Assist in shipping and receiving within the branch
• Process customer requirements, parts, accessories, product through POS terminal and internal computer network (SAP/MGV)
• Inventory control – ordering of parts and product SKU’s to maintain service levels at established inventory turns
• Maintaining service vehicle stock of all parts, supplies, and equipment. Ensuring that all used stock is diligently recorded on work orders
• Performing product installations, reconfigurations, removals or relocations as required from time to time; as well as site surveys as required

Qualifications
• Graduate of a community college or trade school preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to diagnose problems quickly and correctly
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of cash registers and computers, especially Microsoft Office, an asset
• Good writing skills – for documenting all repairs, recording
